    How many more points did Rick Nash and Bobby Ryan have than Derek Stepan last year?

    I hate to be a jerk but if he does this again tomorrow I hope he gets injured for being such a drama queen. jfc just pick. (unless he picks Toronto for some reason.)

    Elliotte Friedman ‏@FriedgeHNIC
    This is why there should be a 1-week "courting period" for free agents. You get multiple offers at massive money, how do you pick in 1 day?

  6. Then Parise should just tell people he is going to wait a week instead of putting everyone through all this.

    Rangers need goal scorers. Ryan has 30+ goals last four years. Nash 30+ last 6 seasons at least. You have to give something to get something. IMO I don't see Stepan as being a 30+ goal scorer. I'll make that move if I'm Slats..

    Now his agent is saying still might be tonight and that he's very close to a decision. I'm annoyed.

  11. Yeah just read that too. I dont think it will be Pittsburgh

    Agree

  13. Make what move? What offer are you referrig to Fink?

    @nyy there actually aren't many skaters in the league I would trade kreider or McD for straight up.

    I could understand that. Especially after what Kreider showed in the playoffs. It's only going to get easier for the kid. But I think if you get an offer of a young, cost-controlled player (similar to McD) who can play on the top line and net 30+, you gotta do it.

  15. Think He's leaning towards Home? Minnesota? Or Detroit?
  16. okokok resign marty and salvador, seems like a pattern...

  18. Kinda sucks losing Jagr. I thought the Flyers made a mistake signing a 40 year old, but his work ethic and charisma won me over. He's one of those guys you can't hate. But we see what his motive is now. And it ain't winning a cup

  19. Pens out on Parise

    Wild agree to terms with Suter

  22. and Parise to the Wild via Twitter
  23. Holly shit Minnesota, they got both. I thought they might get one of them but wouldn't have ever imagined they would get both. Does the OT hockey community have any Minny homers?

    Parise = 13 years, 98 million, 7.5 cap hit
    Suter = 13 years, 98 million, 7.5 cap hit

    from TSN,

    Both players were members of the silver medal-winning 2010 U.S. Olympic team. The pair were also teammates on the gold medal-winning 2004 USA World Junior Championship team as well as the 2002 American team that won gold at the IIHF under-18 World Championships.

    Dunno where chancemcc is but Olli Jokinen to Winipeg for 2-years 9mill
    and Jagr to Dallas for 1 year 4.5m

  24. Suter got same exact contract

    Tompat is Wild homer I'm sure but let's just hope he doesn't chime in
  25. Good for Minny but those players will regret that, how do you choose Minnesota over Detroit? Are you retarded Suter and Parise? I would never want to play in Minnesota.

  26. It will be interesting to see exactly how good Suter is, or if Weber just made him look good all those years.
