    Rangers need goal scorers. Ryan has 30+ goals last four years. Nash 30+ last 6 seasons at least. You have to give something to get something. IMO I don't see Stepan as being a 30+ goal scorer. I'll make that move if I'm Slats..

    @nyy there actually aren't many skaters in the league I would trade kreider or McD for straight up.

    I could understand that. Especially after what Kreider showed in the playoffs. It's only going to get easier for the kid. But I think if you get an offer of a young, cost-controlled player (similar to McD) who can play on the top line and net 30+, you gotta do it.

    Kinda sucks losing Jagr. I thought the Flyers made a mistake signing a 40 year old, but his work ethic and charisma won me over. He's one of those guys you can't hate. But we see what his motive is now. And it ain't winning a cup
