oh and tell marty to say hello to the best power play going, and much more fire power then anything the panthers have.
oi, start my new job in the morning and its already 130 am. Keep hating though. I want nothing more then flyers blues SCF -
Garth Snow??? he couldn't play worse then he goes at GMing
-
lol dude just calm down. its just my opinion. and its not like im sitting her saying the flyers are terrible and the devils are gonna rape. If Bryz has a sub 3.00 gaa i think flyers win in 6...hes giving no reason to think thats going to happen.
And Round 1 aside, doesn't NJ have the best PK in the league statistically?
I hope they do play the blues as well, id love to have money agains flyers fans than a bookie. -
i mean he was NHL player of the fucking month LAST month. LOL.

i do agree hes a liability if hes off his rocker tho but flyers rape this series regardless -
flyers in 5
-
and the devils broke a bunch of PK records in the regular season didn't they? its a new season now, none of that matters. If devils give 3 or 4 PPs a game, theyre fucked. If Bryz plays like round 1, theyre fucked. I think its easier to not take penalties than not suck in goal, but in the end itsobv gonna come down to who does a better job executing their keys to victory, and i see the devs doing it.

well see tho, like i said, great 1st round, hopefully a better 2nd, gl to everyone still in but the kings, quick can fuck off -
Go Rangers and Devils so we have an absolute war of an ECF to watch.
Rangers, Flyers, Kings, Preds imo. -

But this Caps team while better on D is no where near as explosive Offensively.
I think the Rangers have the obvious edge over the Caps at the blueline. Girardi/Mcdonaugh/Staal/DZ is a very strong top 4 in comparison to Green/Carlson/Alzner/Wideman.
Im really hoping for a Rangers/Flyers ECF.
Flyers in 6 ------- Rangers in 7
Nashville in 7 ------ St. Louis in 7 -
I think Philly just broke some playoff records. Something like most offense in a series. Well actually that was a combined effort. Best PP which absolutely DESTROYED one of the EC favourites.

But keep under rating the boys. It's not like they have the skills to put 3 past old man Brodeur if the Devs scored 2 (any number of goals work there). Butwe'll figure it out before it's too late if need be. -
No other series matters...coyotes in 7.
-
Im really not underrating them...if anything you guys are underrating the devils...i mean you guys talk like you're a lock to win, im sure plenty of bookies in vegas will let you bet your house on them...

i mean i understand they had a WHOLE one more point in the regular season, a WHOLE +13 goal differential, and beat a pitt team who i thought was overrated but because everyone crowned them champs you guys think it was the greatest series win in the history of hockey......but the devils are a pretty good team too and this series is going to be close. -
wtf? rangers open up saturday afternoon and devils open up sunday afternoon????? shouldn't having the number one seed mean having a better schedule?? fuck it. rangers are still gonna roll.
Hank for MVP!!! -
Well said, although to be fair that was one of the greatest series in the history of hockey. All it was missing was a Bryz/MAF fight.

Want to wager? -
booked. i have rangers, blues, and preds my 150 to your 100 in each series
-
I would like to point out that 5 of the top 6 goalies in the NHL in save percentage are still in, the other is Cory Schneider (Halliot count as 1)

Eastern Conference 2/4 in round one
#1 New York vs #7 Washington
Season Series tied 2-2
Lundqvist stole a few games in round one as expected of a goalie of his caliber. And the Rangers keep blocking shots as they do but they need to score some goals. Gaborik especially needs to show up, 1 goal in 7 games is not going to get it done, especially when Ottawa isn’t an elite defensive team. The caps are a dangerous team right now, they are finally getting some goaltending and there isnt as much pressure as they aren’t going in as the #1 seed. They key to this series is going to be if Holtby can keep up with lundqvist, because Washington’s offense no matter how skilled cannot score 4 goals a night vs Lundqvist. Prediction New York in 7.
#5 Philadelphia vs #6 New Jersey
Season Series tied 3-3
It was tough to get a read on Philly in round one because Pitt played great or horrible and basically handed them goals by poor goaltending and penalty kill. However, Philly had that same problem, Bryz’s suspect performances were quite overshadowed by other events, however that is not going to be the case vs Brodeur. And I expect NJ's league record PK% to get better even if not to the 90%. As well as Philly’s PP% will regress. I think this series is going to come down to Bryzgalov, if he struggles Kovalchuk and Parise will eat him alive, both shoot the puck a ton and Bryzgalov better be able to stop it. Prediction Philly in 6
Western Conference 4/4 in round one.
#2 St. Louis vs #8 Los Angeles
Season Series LA 3-1
The two best defensive teams in the regular season, this is going to be low low scoring. Bother are defence first teams. LA without a question has more offensive talent and since March 1st have actually averaged over 3 goals per game, but St. Louis plays their defensive system to a tee, and McDonald and Berglund were incredible in the first round, same with Dustin Brown for LA. David Backes (1g, -3) and Jeff Carter(0g, 2a) need to play better for their team to win, they are both players that their team relied on in the regular season. Prediction: Los Angeles in 6 with another 2 games worth of overtimes
#3 Phoenix vs #4 Nashville
Season Series tied 2-2
Just like the Stl vs LA, two very hot goalies and what is most likely another low scoring series. Mike Smith stole the series in round one. However, Phoenix frankly got a little lucky in round one, the two Boedker OT goals were pretty weak. Pekka Rinne stole the series against a better team and got just enough offense to win it. Nashville had the #1 PP in the regular season at 21%, but was 9% in the first round and their PK an ok 83%, that will need to improve. Phoenix’s special team was much better, a 95% PK and 20% PP. Nashville won in 5 with below average ST, and it took 6 games for Phoenix with above average ST. Prediction: Nashville in 5
PS for those of you in Canada Nathan MacKinnon (Halifax #22) is pllaying on RSN, 16 years old, has 26 points in 16 playoff games -
Nashville-Phoenix: Predators in 6
Los Angeles-St. Louis: Kings in 6
Washington-New York: Rangers in 7
New Jersey-Philadelphia: Flyers in 5 -
Flyers in 3.... We are that good
-
So I assume that Bullion is getting 25 games for a shoulder check that hit a ducking player's head too, right?
