    Dodgers are already above the luxury tax threshold before signing any free agents and arbitration raises. I'm not saying that an organization crazy enough to take all that salary off of Boston's hand won't go out an spend a shit load of money, but one has to think they're probably done.

    True, figured they would've had more money coming off the books, but it's only a couple players now that I think of it. Wouldn't surprise me to see them get involved, but yeah, logica thinking would suggest otherwise.

    That's funny, I was just talking to some friends tonight about if they could sign both. I think pagan is going to be way overpaid this offseason, so I don't know if he's automatically gonna be 50m cheaper than bourn. Obviously I would love to see them sign both and move pagan to left is he's cheap.

    Lincecum is so fucking frustrating. The drop in velocity this year is troubling, and I think they wait to do anything with him. I can guarantee the zito contract will be fresh in their mind when negotiating with Timmy, and I wouldn't be surprised if next year is his last as a giant if he doesn't return to form. Somebody out there will overpay for him based on what he could potentially do, and having locked up Cain and Bum, I don't see the giants needing him that much if his best days are behind him.

    1 division in each league...make as balanced of a schedule as you possibly can...take top 4 teams from each division and have the Division Series'.
