    cmoney i think when u post the picks on the main page you should also post the page number the write up is on so it is easy to find. Either that or we could make a google doc with all the write ups and link it in the OP. Thoughts?

    Cam Newton is hardly overrated, to be overated you have to be rated high.....

    I never said I like either Locker or Newton. I just thought it was surprising they have virtually identical 40 times.

    I mean then every Heisman Trophy winner in the history of the world was probably "overrated" because most NFL fans don't follow college football closely enough to differentiate college talent from pro talent. I don't care what those people think.

    I'm drafting for the skins at the 10 spot but I'm going to be out until like 12pm est tonight. Didn't know we were doing this so soon. If it gets to my pick before 12 then please have someone else make the pick. Don't want to hold you guys up.

    Patrick Peterson, DB, LSU



    With Elvis Dumervil coming back next year, the Broncos figure to be much-improved in pass rushing next year despite ranking last in sacks in 2010. Dumervil's return should offset much of the damage that was caused to the Broncos' pass rush last year. Champ Bailey is aging and is a free agent and one only needs to look at Darrelle Revis in NYJ or Nnamdi Asomugha in Oakland to see the impact that a true cover corner can have on a defense. Patrick Peterson can be that kind of player. He is the best player on the board in my opinion. Despite my wariness over taking a cornerback this early, Peterson additionally can have great impact in the kicking game.

    Da'Quan Bowers also has some questionable game efforts. Taking a d-lineman with a questionable motor is like playing with fire. You're simply going to get burnt. If Fairley had been on the board (given his additional versatility in the 3-4 or 4-3), he would have been hard to pass up. However, Bowers is much easier to ignore when a special player like Patrick Peterson is staring at you in the face. We could resign Champ (at a discounted price hopefully) to tutor the younger cornerback into becoming one of the elite in the game. Peterson is a game-changing type of player and simply irresistible as the number two pick. Look for Peterson to be in the immediate running for defensive rookie of the year and to become a household name soon, much the way Revis Island has become in the last couple years.

    fwk posted and said he had class till 6 then he would make the pick. you can PM me your pick w write up( i can google a pic) and ill post it for you if you think your pick will come up while you are away from your cpu.

    astaggs. i feel if we rush this itll be done shitty and ppl wont care about it. i would like owners to be a little more pertinent but I also didnt say when exactly it was starting. now taht everyone knows it has started hopefully everyone will be better about posting in a timely manner.
