Monkey, I thought the standard dress code for blue bonnet pics was a white dress shirt, blue jeans and no shoes. I think every family in DFW has a group pic like that. It's almost a law. Please tell me you do; even better if you post it.

Incredible. My aunt and uncle in Southlake have the exact picture you described.

SF true....Funny to be driving down the highway and see a family pulled over taking the photo op....

what in the fuck happened there?

lol it was after 3 days at a fire academy I was at. Clearly the boots did not like my feet very much. It potentially stopped me from getting a firefighter position (I was already hired and just had to get through the 6 months at the academy, which we were paid for and after the 6 months we'd be placed at a firehouse). However, due to that pic above the city physician would not clear me to continue. I had a total of 48 hours I could miss during the entire 6 months at the academy (48 work hours, and work hours were 8-5 mon-fri). I was obv not healed enough in time, so I had to stop.

That's literally one of the most horrific things I've ever seen. I'm getting nightmares just thinking about running a race and having that happen to my feet. *SHUDDER*
What the hell were you doing (i assume that's mhoddi)?
To be honest, it was MUCH MUCH harder than I thought it would be, so I'm not sure I had done enough conditioning ahead of time to make it anyway. The hiring process and physical were an absolute joke compared to the academy, which was all para-military style. I'm a reasonably strong guy, always been very athletic and can stand a lot of pain, so I went into it expecting I'd hurt here and there but nothing I couldn't handle. If I ever do it again, I'll definitely be more prepared, but obviously this blister problem stopped it all anyway.
The reason that MUPP has that pic is because I wrote him and asked if there was anything I could do to speed up the healing process. -
Cliff's Notes: Mhoddi has soft girl feet (and a vagina)

that's fucking nasty, make it stop

bet BGX and oneM can back me up on this. you needed a whisking layer right next to ur skin. blisters form due to heat, moisture, and friction. Take away moisture and you are much better off. 10k road marches in combat boots don't lie.

still waiting to see a pic of Amymarie's face ... all she sends me is the noodz

galt...
The main reason was that the boots (at least mine) had this little ridge right at the heel. Obv if you move anywhere outside you have to run, so that ridge dug into my heel everytime I moved my feet.
They were standard issue boots (we all got the same uniforms/clothing) and we only got them 3-4 days before we started, so it wasn't like I could break them in or get used to them. A few other guys got blisters, but nobody else for whatever reason were as bad as mine. I'm 100% sure what you recommended would have helped, but I'm fairly sure most of the damage was due to the strange ridge in the heel. -
wow and when I got tiny ones from soccer Id be complaining like a bitch but this is like..... wow a whole new level
