A new Public Policy Polling survey in Iowa shows Newt Gingrich clinging to the lead in the GOP presidential race with 22%, followed by Ron Paul at 21% and Mitt Romney at 16%.

Newt has dropped 5 points in a week and his favorability numbers have plummeted. My guess is those attack spots Paul is running are working. Paul is gaining with the same demo that the Obama campaign won with in 2008: new voters, young voters, and non-republicans.
I sense a big ad buy coming from the Gingrich campaign. No one has really felt it necessary to go on the offensive against RP, I'm betting that will end soon.

aw shit!
-
He IS going to win Iowa.
-
voter fraud, tho.
-
Can anyone say 2 term POTUS five times quickly?
-
RP bringing the heat in that commercial!

That's true. I think an attack ad against RP might actually help in some way, since it will validate him further as a legit candidate.
-
I would record fox news all day if Paul won Iowa.. Would make for some funny tv. Dont really see it happening but I'm pulling for him tho

Awwww adorable! Lol

I'm just going to sit back and watch this unfold, people are sick of the norm, Newt and Mitt define the norm....problem is the Repub party in general doesn't like to think outside the norm, we will see if they are ready to not be the same ole GOP, I'm hoping not, but that said I'm not holding my breath

believe it when i see it

All this needs is poopy and UD and it could be a reunion thread.

I'm convinced at this point that the GOP forfeited this race long ago and all of this is a charade and they're saving the real candidates for 2016.
-
Paul Ryan, Chris Christie, Mitch Daniels and Rand Paul all running in 2016? That would be interesting...
-
LOL wp.
