  2. It'll be interesting to see Nevada results. The same sort of thing happened in MN in 2008. RP had 40% of the delegates at the state convention and only got 6 to the national due to the McCain supporting GOP chair basically censoring the RP delegates. Hopefully this stuff will change this time around due to RP supporters taking many positions in the GOP system.

Would be awesome for the media to take these polls to heart and then come caucus day have Paul get 2nd w/like 25-30%

  3. Romney on online poker

Romney also said he doesn't support legalizing online gaming. He's says he's against it because of the social costs and people's addictive gambling habits.

    Santorum

"Gaming is not something that is beneficial .... vices on the internet that tend to grow exponentially ... it would be dangerous for our country to have that type of access"

Sheldon Adelson opposes online poker. he owns the Venetian and Palazzo. Sheldon has donated 10 million to a Gingrich Super PAC

its working a lot better than if a Repub would've been elected, we wouldn't be raping House Hearings like we are right now, and would probably have a federal law put in place fully banning online poker, as well as a negative DOJ response to online poker contrary to the one we just received.....Obama/DOJ just banned it so US could reposition itself

Your idea that "if a repub had been elected it would hav bee worse..." is a joke. There are many republicans who would have been better on this subject than Obama has been. To try and frame this as a "left/right" thing when a Democrat has been a leader in trying to keep it illegal is laughable.

Is it laughable that Banning Online Gambling is on the Republican Platform but not the Democratic, you act like I am saying the Dems are on the good side, they aren't, they are however a lesser of 2 evils in this situation....to ignore the divide between the right and left in this matter is whats laughable, who put the UIGEA in place

More Democrats voted for it than against it.

Not sure what your point is, I stated they are both evil, but Dems are the lesser of 2 evils, these stats just back that claim up, and correct me if I am wrong but they were voting on the Port Securities Act, not specifically UIGEA which was piggybacked on, so those voting statistics are foggy at best in relation to their views on gambling

Those statistics aren't foggy at all in terms of who values liberty and the Constitution over political expediency. Lesser of two evils... lol... who do you want, Hitler or Stalin?

What are you turning this into? I am talking about poker, and your claim that its laughable to make the conclusion that labeling the Repubs as worse than the Dems on that particular issue. There is plenty of evidence to substantiate that claim. But keep trying to twist the argument into something else.

Just shut up. This whole blue team/red team bullshit is old. The true fight is between statists and non-statists and it is the statists who won the day with the UIGEA. Political affiliation had nothing to do with it. It hardly ever does.

  20. "Just shut up".....gfy dyz you non social fuck... nothing I said is wrong, your turning this into something I am not even discussing and pushing your propaganda upon a discussion that has nothing to do with it, this whole thing started with the premise that we would be in the same exact position if we had a Repub President, and we wouldn't, thats pretty fucking obvious.

Obvious to whom? It isn't obvious to someone that has no skin in the left/right game.

    Pimpin' for Paul... LOL

He has run, by his own admission, a rather unconventional campaign. But now Ron Paul’s tactics appear to have finally paid off after he was given his most unusual endorsement yet - from prostitutes in Nevada. The Republican presidential candidate has been backed by sex workers due to his libertarian views which would allow allow their brothels to stay open. Among those who will be voting his way include women from the notorious Moonlite Bunny Ranch, a legal brothel outside Carson City, which was featured in its own HBO series, Cathouse.

  25. none of the bunnies came to Reno to support Paul. How come so many people claim to support him yet don't do anything to help him like showing up at rallies, or actually voting for him?

LOL thaks for that one. Been looking for an excuse to post this.

A peek into his final 2011 campaign finance report shows the extent of the Texas Republican's frugality -- or at least how detailed the congressman is when it comes to filling out these reports.
