It's going to be pretty sweet when RP wins the nomination and all these freedom haters cry their fucking eyes out. Not wanting RP to be president literally makes you dumber than a bag of hammers.

  6. Did you read the article? Sounds like he invested $10m and was able to pull out $1m in profit

  10. Mitt Romney and Son Tagg in 2008 invested in Allen Stanford’s ponzi scheme to the tune of 10 million dollars initially in Solamere Capital a seed investment and received 1 million in returns.

this means he got 11 back? idk, like I said the article is very weird. did he invest and make money before it was ponzi? did he know anything? was he out before shit went bad? are his assets tied up in the receivership? idk. terribad article
  11. Everybody is ignoring the ridiculously high percentage wealthy people like Romney are taxed at, 13.9%. Hard for these guys to show a profit

four sentences later the article talks about tagg and mitt romney's "profits."

oh nm, case is pending and funds are frozen, maybe.

  15. I still don't see anything about romney doing anything wrong. looks like he invested in a group that has some guys that are accused of being involved with a ponzi with another group. and that it looks like he made money with the new group, not with the ponzi.

the second article just states stuff from the prosecution's court filings. I guess we'll find out when it goes to trial/arbitration
  16. Romney is the white version of Phil Ivey

  18. Tagg? For real? Tagg?
  19. lol Tagg (older brother Duck Duck)

lol Mitt (from MI, this makes it even funnier because it sounds like a nickname for someone from MI)

naturally you seek definitive proof of wrongdoing when it can't be found, definitively. personally I'd rather talk about how much money this douchebag would spend heading the executive branch, or really anything remotely relevant to the campaign.

but in this environment where we can spend weeks talking about whether or not romney tied his dog to the roof of his minivan 30 years ago, you don't find it a little bit interesting that romney may have seen a 10% return by investing in a ponzi scheme, and he may have then partnered with those at the top of the ponzi scheme?

it won't make any difference in my vote but I think getting people to talk about this is a good thing.
  21. I like the ever-changing narrative that the media has for RP. First was to ignore completely. Then acknowledge, and play him off as the crazy old grandpa. Then back to ignore. Now, painting his delegate strategy he's had since day 1 and talked about in every interview with the MSM as evil and against everything that is american.

I am looking forward to the next phase, where they bring up the "racist newsletters" again. for the 50th time. Over a 25 year period.
  22. Just got back from watching him speak at UCSD, his ideas just make too much sense to ever be implemented in washington.

Good crowd but less than the 1000 they were hoping for, probly ~600. Little disruption when the religious idiot protesters were trying to interrupt with some stupid chant but they got shut down pretty quick. Overall, great speech and it seems his message is hitting pt with at least the college age segment. Getting his message out there and getting the youth of this country on board is the only thing that can save this country.

And I really didnt realize how many are against the FED, its a pretty good feeling being surrounded by people who want good things for this country and not socialism.

i have to load the camera pics but heres one my phone

  23. apparently im an idiot and the crowd was huge, like 6000. Not sure why i didnt think it was bigger

the new no-edit thing is lame

yeah, based on that picture alone and guessing 600 it was obvious you are not very good at guessing crowd sizes. Not that I am an expert
