Fuck u modafucka the little Jerry episode wasn't even that good. I could name episodes from any number of seasons that completely rape season 8 but what's the point. This is actually a solid thread so I'll stay out of it, compared to your other recent abominations you deserve praise, so good work.

this thread rapes but I will echo the opinion that season 8, while hilarious, was definitely not the peak of the show. season 5 was probably the best.
gonna bust out the box set tonight -

THAT'S FINE! there's no reason to come in here and berate me for some other thread or some shit. discuss the show, say you don't like season 8 as much, but for god's sake, there's no need to get personal just because i like season 8. eat a bag of dicks if you're going to open my thread just to rip on me. -
I can pretty much quote every line of every episode. Favorite episode is the Bubble Boy one. Any episode that really showcases George is gold. Moors...Moops....Moors....Moops!! He is hands down the greatest sitcom character of all time. I agree that any episode that happened in Florida was great.

I always wanted to love Cheers over Seinfeld because I grew up with both and will always love both, but Seinfeld is clearly the winner and everything about it is awesome... it takes a bit to get going in the first season but never looks back... Season 5 is just so brilliant I want to watch it all right now:
From wiki:
Season 5 was an even bigger ratings-hit, as it consisted of many popular episodes such as "The Puffy Shirt" in which Jerry feels embarrassed wearing the "pirate" shirt on The Today Show,[48] "The Non-Fat Yogurt" featuring Rudy Guilani who was the Republican mayor of New York at the time,[49] and "The Opposite" in which George begins his career with the "New York Yankees" and Elaine quits "Pendant Publishing". Another story arc has George returning to live with his parents. In the midst of the story arc, Kramer creates and promotes his coffee table book.[50] The show was again nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, but lost to the Cheers spin-off Frasier, which was only in its first season. Seinfeld was nominated for the same award every year for the rest of its run but always lost to Frasier, which went on to win a record 39 Emmy Awards.

my fav episode of all seinfeld is "The Wizard" (season 9, ep 15) when george has a place in the Hamptons. there's like thirty great lines in it. elaine and her "black" bf, kramer optioning his book on toy rayguns and "retiring" and the tip calculator that might be hot. not one weak piece in the whole thing.

might be my fav exchange in the whole of seinfeld. (just remembered another, the scene where kramer is miming to jerry about george's parents finding out about his love for the she-jerry, that is my fav for sure.)
George, with Elaine in Jerry's apartment: "So, I ran into the Rosses again."
Elaine: "Oh, right, at the coffee shop. Where did they get the idea that you
have a place in the Hamptons?"
George: "From me."
Elaine: "What did you say?"
George: "I told them I have a place in the Hamptons. What did you say?"
Elaine: "I told them you didn't. And I laughed and I laughed."
George: "So, they knew? Those liars!"
Elaine: "But you lied first."
George: "Yeah, but they let me go on and on all about the Hamptons, they
never said a thing! You don't let somebody lie when they know you're lying.
You call them a liar!"
Elaine: "Like you're a liar!"
George: "Yes. Thank you! Is that so hard?"
Elaine: "So, this is over, not over? I'm bettin', not over."
George: "Hmm-hmm, not by a long shot. I'm calling up the Rosses and inviting
them up to my non-existent place in the Hamptons. Then we'll see who blinks
first."
Elaine: "Haven't you done enough to these people?"
George: "This is not about them. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to exercise
Jerry's gaskets." -

Can't believe people hating on Elaine. I was always insanely jealous of that kid who got to kiss her at his Bar Mitzvah.
I also loved every episode that was set in the Florida retirement community. Jack Klompus's space pen, the WILARD, the beltless raincoat were all great. -
You know, just admitting another man is attractive doesn't make you a homosexual
It doesn't help -
I was never really a big fan of Alayne, but I dont like redheads

There are only a few exceptions to this rule, actually I can only think of 1 but basically I don't like you if you don't like Seinfeld.
A) If you've given it a legit shot and you don't like it - "well that's because you're an idiot". It's just not possible to dislike the show if a legit shot has been given. (say a sample size of 10 episodes to guarantee non-clunkers as well as get accustomed to the show).
B) If you haven't given it a shot and say it looks stupid then you are closed minded and I probably don't like you.
The one exception I can think of is a real good friend's wife who I can't dislike but would if she wasn't married to my good buddy. I do worry about their future together though since she doesn't "get" Seinfeld. -
coolhandkev, for a SECOND, i thought i had clicked on the big bang theory thread of mine. and i was about to RIP into you.
realizing now that this is the seinfeld thread, i agree 100% lol -
Jerry's gonna be at Foxwoods doing his standup routine Friday night. I'll be there to start my vacation and playin the start of the mega stack series. He has a web site and he posts some of his stand up routines on a regular basis but I haven't checked out just in case he runs his new material thru it. Good place to be on a rainy weekend.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the *Unofficial*Seinfeld season 8 thread. Cause this one is pretty lame

I will be sleeping under my desk until this thread regains steam.
