What a game when I get off cloud nine I'll be back to posting
-
Vegas does. Or at least they anticipate more bettors will believe Phl is more likely to win the SB.

Not saying I agree with that statement, just pointing out it's not as absurd as you're making it out to be -
And it just cannot be overstated how small a margin it is between great season and mediocrity. Pretty sure I could watch every Eagles game from the season and find about 3 razor close plays that, if they all go the other way, put the Eagles in the playoffs, and the Giants on the outside. Same with the Miles Austin pass. There just isn't much of a margin between these teams.
Anyone betting on the Giants to win the SB next year based on "Eli is so clutch" is a sucker. -
So much parity in the NFL, just a few bounces are really all that matters. I mean, I hate to keep bringing this up, but the Giants recovered 8 of 10 possible fumbles this postseason. I mean jesus.

The great teams make their own luck. Losers blame everything on random chance.

The giants players were more alert and prepared than the Patriots and were in the right position to pounce on the fumbles. They just wanted it more. -
Basically all of football history, direct video evidence, and statistics disagree, but I mean feel free to keep believing your fairy tales.
-
yea it really seems to pain you to bring it up lolllllllllllll

hate more -
I mean, do you honestly think the Pats were the best team in the AFC or the Giants were the best team in the NFC?
Honestly? -
once the playoffs started the giants were def the best team in the nfc. duno if the pats were greater than the ravens, but they did win.
just saying you are killing the giants in every post the last two days. clearly they got some breaks, but saying they don't deserve it after their four playoff wins is insane. -

By definition, yes.
Packers, Saints, and Pats were all too one-sided. Great offenses and great QB's but none of them could stop a nosebleed all season. Giants had a rough stretch in the middle of the season but were a much more well rounded team by the time the playoffs came around. -
definitely? I mean they couldn't move the ball at all against the 49ers. not sure how many games the giants win there if they play ten. But then again, never said they didn't deserve it.

just a few bounces and romo could be hoisting the lombardi trophy
-
u definitely seem upset
-
what, the giants moved the ball very well in the first half, then the 49er d stepped up and played great in the second half. clearly the giants caught a break on that fumble in ot, but it is not like they weren't at least as good as the 49ers in that game (which they played on the other side of the country in the rain). alex smith wasn't exactly marching it up and down the field either.

The Giants probably are a more well rounded team than the Patriots. Neither team is great. The Patriots making it this far is a testament to Brady and COACH Belichick. So many holes in that team talent wise, they rarely felt like a superbowl team all season. Eve with their great offense they don't have a deep threat to stretch the field
Next season the Patriots should be a lot better. Read a week or two back that the Patriots have more cap space than any team in the league (do have to sign Welker). Plus they have two 1st round and two 2nd round draft picks. They should be a lot more talented next season and fill some of those holes. Plus Hernandez and Gronk will be a year older. The future looks really bright for the Patriots. See who they sign but I'd expect them to be more talented and the favorites to come out of the AFC when the season starts -
Your QB will be 35 next season, the window is starting to narrow at the least.
