Just watched my first ever episode of survivor. So I thought I might as well go apply for the next season since....well...the government took my job and im unemployed. Aint got shit else to do.

Just watched this week's episode.

First of all, not buying the teaser for next week that Cochran is gonna stir the pot. Seems like BS.

Second of all, I'm liking Cochran a lot. It looks like he's calmed down and is more comfortable in the game. He's less on edge and is now articulating thoughts in a way that makes me want to listen. I like the guy.

I forget the medical student's name...but I like her, too. I'm interested to see what she can pull off.

While I'll buy that Cochran is a "superfan" and knows most of the ins-and-outs of the game, I don't think he has the stones to actually pull something off. I feel like he'd have a panic attack while making his big move and have to get medical to slip him his inhaler before he plotzes.

I'm kind of digging Sophie, the med student. I've got my eye on her to take it deep and maybe pull a few moves herself.

i dont either. i mean who would go with him anyway. i feel bad for him because he seems like all he wants to do is just be in the game but he just cant get the momentum and its too late to find the end alliance. Dude that told the girl about ozzies immunity idol is some good forshadowing for later i think. ozzie seems like the dude that can literally beat everyones ass on redemption island challenges though. Coach needs to get his squad under control. Maybe pick up makeyla or something. Hantz is an idiot

Ozzie is much better as the "enforcer" character who kills challenges and brings in lots of food and stuff but sucks as a leader and a frontrunner. Hell in his last season he walked out after being voted out with the idol still in his bag. He can be had sooo easily and I will never understand why anybody ever tells anyone!!! about having an idol.

Coach is cool for now because as hard as it is to fathom he is under the radar. Lil Hantz is psycho enough to divert attention from Coach as long as he doesn't go all dragon-slayer on his tribe and make everyone realize he should be ousted. Edited By: dwscrippler Oct 1st, 2011 at 05:17 PM

As for Cochran: You'd think a guy who has obviously spent as much time as he has watching the show, researching the game, studying strategy, etc, would have thought "Hey, if I'm going to go on this show, I might need to become a bit more physical." Dude seriously needed to pull his head out from the books/internet porns and hit the gym some.
