Alright, last week before playoffs. Some of us are in the running in a few tight leagues, some of us have a league or two locked up, and some of us are just sucking hind wind right now. Good luck to everybody trying to eek out a playoff birth...unless you're playing me.

Made the playoffs in both my leagues, 1st seed with a bye in one, 6th seed in the other. Completely unsure who to start this week for the 6th seed team, will be making a post about that as soon as i've thought about it more.

Agree with LS on Ballard in general. You may want to think about Pettigrew as well, at least for this week, since the match up is so good. He had a 11rec/112yd game vs. Minnesota earlier in the season.

this...I obv love what Robinson's been doing but I have no clue how much Austin returning is gonna affect him. And I really want to get Smith in the lineup but Marshall is a borderline "never sit" guy and there's a part of me that just wants to play both Cowboys. sigh.

Not following you at all. Combo points was all I was referring to. But if you have romo's contact info tell him to throw to dez more. Thanks.

I'm trying to understand how having Austin in your starting lineup makes it so Romo scores more than Cam when you contend that Cam will score more than Romo otherwise.

It wouldn't. Which is why I said I'd play Cam. That scenario would be the only way to make me think otherwise even slightly. Never said there was a good reason behind it. Combos score points quick for you but bad games hurt twice as much amongst other things. I'm not trying to defend having combos.

It's just a school of thought I've heard in fantasy. Again, I wouldn't start Romo over Newton because of it. But because it's a theory I've heard before and it would give me enough pause to think about it. Does that satisfy your strange curiosity on the subject? I'd hate to keep you up at night with it.
