i'm kinda fucked this week anyways with a lot of my team on a bye but i did manage to make a move that should help this week (i gave up Eli manning and Roy Williams for LT and Cedric Benson, my team was in desperate need of a RB since forte is on a bye, and Deangelo Williams plays for the panthers...good trade?)

[X] woulda got more responses if it had been left as its own thread
  2. i never use a qb going up against pitt because the chance of him getting injured is pretty high

cassel is on fire and going against the worst pass defense in the league, go with cassel
  3. i need to choose 1 WR and 1 WR/RB

Gaffney - vs SF in london
    Gettis - @ STL
    James Jones - @ NYJ
    Hart - vs HOU
    Woodhead - vs MIN

assuming addai does not play or he'd start obv

    right now im leaning gaffney/hart
  4. hart isnt exactly a runner who breaks 30+yd carries and pretty sure its gonna be a shootout in houston, imo go gettis and woodhead
  5. lol @ starting Cassel over Brees. I thought u was an expert DOnkey kong!!!

    WR1: Santana Moss
    WR2: ???
    WR3: ???

    WR Pool:
    Donald Driver @ NYJ

I agree, Bess and Smith have the better matchups
  11. Call me crazy but I like Driver more than Smith here.

I'm not impressed with the Carolina passing attack and I like St.Louis' D, especially in this match up.

Actually I don't like either of those options, forgot Driver had missed 2 practices already. Gaffney has been pretty productive and projects as a decent #3 WR or Flex option this week.

I think the 3 are pretty close and Bess is auto.

  12. PPR League
    3 WR's and 1 Flex

I can either start Thomas Jones at Flex or have the 4th receiver start. If I start Jones which WR do I sit?????????????????

    Wes Welker Min
    Mike Wallace @NO
    Kenny Britt @SD
    Davone Bess @Cin

    RB- Thomas Jones Buf

  13. sit jones
  14. What do you guys think I could get for Peyton Manning?

I'm in big trouble, and I need a solid running back...well 2 really. I have a decent receiving corps with Boldin, Wayne, Garcon, and Heather Miller at TE.

My runningbacks are non existant, and I'm getting crushed. I need to make a trade now.
  15. Find someone in your league that's deep at RB and weak at QB then find a favorable deal.

Manning is the top scoring QB in both of my leagues (one scores QB's heavy). How much are you giving up at QB and how much do you want to get at RB?

You should be able to get a 2nd tier RB pretty easily, do you need a 3rd tier QB as well or are you set at QB if you trade Manning?
  16. I have Carson Palmer on the bench, and he throws to Ocho Cinco, and T.O....

Who do you consider a 2nd tier back? examples?
  17. Guys like Gore, Mendenhall, Forte, Rice, Jackson, Bradshaw, Turner etc.

I would try to sell high on Palmer for someone under-producing like Rice or Mathews.
  18. I was deep at RB and very very weak at QB and just traded MJD for Brees. But i also have Moreno, Matthews, Ronnie Brown and Spiller and we only start 2 RB's and no flex.

  19. Trade Advice... Dude wants Miles Austin from me and I need a RB... here is what he offered... I have until 10pm to respond to trade:

Miles Austin and a 2011 2nd round pick in a 3 player keeper league.

    for

    Ray Rice and Jeremy Maclin

I am leaning towards not doing it because Ray Ray is splitting carries... and Maclin isn't a #1..

    Would like a couple opinions.

    Thanks.

depends on how badly you need a RB/what other receivers you have - on the surface, doesn't look like a bad trade

i'm trying to work a trade to get a RB for roethlisberger (rookie keeper league, non-PPR, huge bonuses for QBs and studs - other weird rules: set roster 2 RBs/3WRs - set bench, too - must have 2QB/5RB/6WR/2TE/2K/2Defs with one flex bench spot - no free agency, one waiver move a week, waiver order goes in terms of weakest record to best, which sucks for me, as i've been leading the league all season and have gotten no one on waivers)

    my team:
    QBs:
    Peyton Manning
    Ben Roethlisberger
    Sam Bradford
    RBs:
    Michael Turner
    Jahvid Best
    LeGarrette Blount
    Tim Hightower
    Jason Snelling

    his team:
    QBs:
    Tony Romo
    Eli Manning (on bye)
    Jay Cutler (on bye)
    RBs:
    Frank Gore
    Arian Foster
    Thomas Jones
    Joseph Addai
    Fred Jackson

waiver moves have already gone through this week, so he def needs a QB - Roethlisberger has scored 30+/week for the last two weeks and will consistently score 25+ from here on out - who should i be going for/who do you think he'd give up?
  23. go for frank gore, he is in no position to turn down big ben for gore

if you want to be a bitch you can offer bradford for gore
  24. need to start 2 RBs 2 REC and a Flex:

RBs: (have my 2 normal starters on bye)
    Blount (@ ARI)
    Woodhead (MIN)
    Moreno (@SF)
    Greene (GB)

    REC:
    Megatron (WAS)
    Williams SEA (@ OAK)
    Moss (@ DET)
    Colston (PIT)
  25. Who do i start at RB? 2RB's + flex.

    Gore, Jackson, Best, Wells, Forsett

You have to start Gore (imo), Jackson is up against Carolina, Best is back to 100% off a bye week and against Washington, and Wells will be getting 90% of the carries b/c of Hightower's fumbles, and is up against TBay.

    ???
  26. blount, moreno, johnson, moss

    gore, best, wells

  29. start two in standard scoring league:

    t.o.
    colston
    steve johnson
    mike williams (tb)
    gaffney
  30. TO, williams
