    The 5th annual P5s WSOP party will be held this year on Wed, July 1st from 7:00-10:00 pm at the New York, New York in the Staten Island room.

    So...that means the 2009 Off Topic afterparty will be held that night starting at 11:00 pm!!

    This is the plan:

    We're gonna do VIP and get table service. With VIP, there's a requirement to buy bottles depending on the number of people that go. With that bottle comes all the mixers. Soda, juices, etc. It also includes free entry into the lounge, no waiting in line, and personalized service. We will also have our own separate section of the bar and our entire party can sit together. There will be no need to split up at all.

    It will cost $120/person for the night. You can pay either at the P5s party earlier that night, or you can pay when you show up to the afterparty. I would prefer that you pay at the P5s party if at all possible. Also, no site transfers allowed!!

    If you consider yourself a baller and would like to get your own bottle while you're there, that's perfectly fine, but you still have to pay the $120 up front.

    I will coordinate limousines from the New York, New York to the location of the party, unless we're within easy walking distance. That service is included in the $120.

    Dress code will be posted when a final location is picked. Right now I'm considering The Bank at the Bellagio, Pure at Caesars, Voodoo Lounge at the Rio, and Body English at the Hard Rock. I'll be working with a Vegas local (most likely LVPokerDealer or Michael_B to see if we can get 2 for 1 bottles thrown in there.) The price will stay at $120 regardless. Two years ago when we had the awesome turnout at the Voodoo Lounge for this, a few of us had to pay extra to cover everything. I don't want that to happen again.

    I think this is going to be awesome and I can't wait to get together for this. If you're in, please reply to this thread so I can get a headcount in to the VIP people at the club. I can make small changes to the number the night of the party, but I need a ballpark figure to get the ball rolling.

    Please let me know if you plan on attending. We had about 70 people when we did this in '07 and it was really a great time. Thanks!

    Well, I was going to say "maybe" but then I figured, no, eff that, Underdog (yes, I refer to myself as Underdog in my mind, problem?) you need to just do it. No maybes, just say yes. After all, LL2 is going to be there and you will finally have a chance at meeting the guy who single-handedly funded your poker habit via UB heads-up matches lo those many years ago.

    So, yes, I'm in.

    Quit drinking for four weeks and you could probably bank a couple grand for the trip. I quit drinking for three years back in teh 90's and paid off my house.

    If it's vacation time you're concerned about just be sick for couple days.

    Im obv in for sure.

    My roommate is a vip table host at LAX and can 100% get us 2 for 1 bottles at either Pure or LAX and hook us up with the best tables in the house. Just something to keep in mind....

    few things...lax and body english are way too loud...outside on top of voodoo lounge was a great time, not too loud and you could hear people talking without yelling. the bank is super nice inside and has the best vip tables imo.
