  1. Here's the story. 4 or 5 days ago I'm helping my gf study for her chemistry test. We had the same teacher, same class, but I took it two semesters prior.

So when I took it that was the first semester that they were switching to a new book. I shelled out the dough for the new book and at the end of the semester sold it back to the bookstore and got 50% of it's original value back.

Maybe you can see where this is going. Fast forward to 4 or 5 days ago and I'm flipping through the book looking for a chart of the periodic table. I come to the page it's on and I see my handwriting I'm like wtf.

So of course there are lots of people who probably have similar writing.. so I write next to some things on that page and it's identical. She's like no there's no way this could be the same one because she says she bought it online from half price books. So I keep flipping through pages, remembering specific things that I marked/notes that I made and it's the exact same book, two semesters later, ordered from online. Wonder how many of those books are in circulation/how many schools have switched to it. Pretty crazy though.

Also in before pics. They have already been shown in a previous post.
  2. Pretty weird coincidence. Obviously the higher the level class (i.e. 300 level plus), the lower the odds. Fewer of those books in circulation. However, it might be lower simply because those books stay housed in a local warehouse for each semester (rather than shipping them cross country).

And post pics here - I don't feel like trying to find your other post with her pics.
