Niemi gives up too many rebounds. With the defense that the Sharks have, that is going to kill you. The money should have been spent on upgrading your defense first.

I would've preferred the money to go to defense personally, but whatever. Hopefully he proves me wrong. I was pretty content with Nittymaki and Greiss in net.

oh yeah for sure. I'm not comparing them as a player overall, just in general, we in Canada don't get to see a lot of Columbus games, so we don't see how dominant he can be. We just get to see the highlights of him, and for a big guy, he might have better hands than Getz. If he played for Toronto Make-Me-Laughs, he'd be the 2nd Jesus.

i've spent whole days, 8/9 and 9/1 sitting on my computer waiting for the decisions to be made. First I get the awful news of the Bloch decision (awful in the sense that it's all in the air again, not that i didn't think he was right) and of course yesterday only to find out its all delayed again!
i dont want this pushed back passed the weekend because i start work for real on Tuesday -

The guy is the real deal, but gets shut out of the spotlight because he plays for a shit team in a shit market. I agree that he probably isn't on the same level as Crosby and Ovechkin, but he is easily comparable to a guy like Malkin. Btw am I the only one itt who thinks Malkin is a 2nd tier guy compared to those two? No disrespect or anything, he's a great player, top 3-5 in the game today easily, but those two are just miles above everyone else.
