At the end of the video you can hear the instructor saying "When he wakes up he's gonna tell me he's been doing this for five years" or something like that. Either way that is in no way appropriate for the instructor to act. His student coulda killed that kid and he's just standing over him laughing.

reading the description on YouTube made me feel a bit better, but that's just absolutely gross to hear. guy was clearly knocked out after the one knee strike...he falls back and drills his head on the pole. he's motionless on the ground, and proceeds to take 2 more straight heels to the jaw/chin/cheek/head. so sick.

regardless of if the kid was talking shit, its not OK for him to be left face down unconscious like that EVER.

As an instructor that guy is a fuckwit and I hope he gets shut down sometime soon. Not sure about the laws over there but here you are responsible for the health and safety of every one who is in your place of business and that would get him shut down, barred from running a business and charged with multiple offenses.

I seriously think this might be the most wrong and just genuinely evil thing I've ever witnessed on youtube.

Intentionally try to fucking kill a guy by stomping repeatedly on his head while he's lying completely limp, unconscious, his head lying on concrete like that. And then, once he's spurting blood and making fucked up noises out of his air passages from how clogged up with blood they were, possibly in serious risk of dying, or at least, possibly some serious longterm health consquences or permanent damage from what they did to him, to just instruct for them to drag him out back the way they did, and then apparently throw him into a dumpster, not call an ambulance or anything, not take him to a hospital, just leave him in a dumpster, while his health appears to be in extreme peril, what... the... fuuuuuuck....

Probably so, but that's still not even close to being an acceptable excuse for what they did towards the end of that vid though.

edit: nevermind I thought you guys were talking about the second vid, but now I see you guys were talking about the vid in the OP, which is obv way less bad by comparison. Even so, not really an excuse even for that one, but obviously is infinitely less bad in that one.

Did karate for 6 years when I was younger and I dont really mind what happened in the 1st vid too much. Dumbasses used to come into our dojo all the time looking for a fight. They would always try as hard as they could to seriously injure anyone they wound up fighting, while anyone fighting them would just basically try and submit them ASAP without doing any possible permanent damage. Was the teacher out of line a bit, sure... threadworthy, not at all.

I had thought the vid was already posted here, but I guess I saw it someplace else.

The student I believe is in jail for an unrelated crime. No charges have been filed against the teacher or anyone else, but I read in just some random forum that he was being harrassed, don't know if that's true or not. He's got a facebook page. I think this has been a story for a couple years now and no charges, so I guess he will get away with it.

The most amazing thing is that the instructor is the guy who posted the video.

Regarding the 2nd video --

Its very standard if someone comes to a school to challenge a master that a top student will fight the challenger first. I have only seen it once and the master called out his top student by name and he immediately attacked the challenger. Once the dude was incapacitated, however, the fight was immediately over and no attempts were made to strike him while he was on the ground.

You can tell from the 2nd video that the instructor is a huge POS and not very skilled as evidenced by

1) How poorly his student fought
2) How his student continued to attack when his opponent was prone and clearly unconscious
3) the fact that someone was allowed to videotape it

I've only studied under old school masters though, and neither of them had any affiliation with MMA or any televised exhibition fights. Rule #3 is probably very different for the MMA-affiliated schools/instructors
