  1. Do the bears try to pick him up?
  2. they should. can't imagine orton is worse than the bears' back up lol
  3. Chicago would def want him if its a lock Cutler won't be back before play-offs.
  4. They should snag him, can't imagine he would go for more than min to finish the season.
  5. houston tho

best comment i've ever seen i think
  8. So who is going too be tebow's backup when he inevitably goes down with some injury playing this style of offense!?

  9. Lovie's not that smart.
  10. Supposedly the Bears are going to put in a claim for Orton, but they have the 30th waiver claim spot.

They can only hope he goes back to chicago and find his "cluchness" wherever he left it because he sure didnt bring it with him to Denver

    Backup RB obv
  12. Oh no who is going to RKO Cena now!
  13. i thoroughly enjoyed this response from you lol
  14. The Kansas City Chiefs are going to claim him off waivers and they will have first shot at him over the Bears and the Texans.

  16. Orton vs. Tebow in Denver, with Cutler injured but probably on the sidelines watching.... so sick if it happens.
  17. I would put money on it that he lands in Kansas City. Anyone thinking he is going to land on the Bears is dreaming.
  18. It was inevitable. Somebody, prolly the Chiefs, are about to get some good value for him. And if they do wouldn't it be funny if it comes down to the chiefs and broncos for the division. Not saying its likely, but it would be interesting.

I don't think KC claims him because it doesnt make sense from a strategy or financial standpoint. KC is a good team, but with half their team gone for the season with injuries, they have no shot at making the playoffs. Why pay somebody to come in and be a game manager, when you can see what your unproven guys have to offer, earn a higher draft pick, and save money in the process. It's not like "Chiefs sign Kyle Orton" is going to excite the fanbase or put more people in the seats.
  20. I hear ya but people like Peter King are tweeting the Chiefs put a claim on him already. Heard this on the radio tonight.
  21. Chiefs are two games out of the Division and WC races.

Allthough a shitstorm is a brewin' (Jets, Packers, Steelers, Bears on the horizon), Haley's not going to trot Palko out to the wolves every week if he doesn't have to.

  22. KC gonna Oakland

Except, if they do claim Orton, they're not going to be giving up even close to what Oakland gave up for Palmer.

Still retarded to drop those monies to still not make the playoffs
  25. Orton sucks so fuckin bad, he is not going to help anyone.

This is true enough, but teams always obsess over the idea of bringing in a 'proven veteran', never mind that all he's proven is that he sucks the bag.
  27. well tom bradys prolly not getting released, so you take what you can get... and orton is a much better option than leinart or caleb. hou and chi dont need the goat, they just want someone serviceable to hold their starters place and not fuck shit up
  28. I don't get all the hate for orton. everyone knows he isn't an elite quarterback but he has been on 2 teams where he really was never wanted and looking at the #'s he put up in denver they look decent with the shit show going on in the mile high.
  29. And it's Orton to the Chiefs.
