i'm going to be cooking some boneless chicken breast. I'm cooking them in a frying pan. Should I use butter or olive oil to cook them in?? going for taste not which one is healthier. Thanks
-
a lil bit of each. oh, and we prefer "chefs". cooks get paid less to make food. glglgl
-
Regular oil, but bonelss thighs are much better..... add some garlic salt as well.
-
both. butter will taste better and the oil will keep it from burning so quickly.

Olive oil. ( and hot sauce, litttle bit of soy sauce also.) Garlic and spices obv.
-
now the next question for the chefs of OT. I wanna make a gravy with the drippings left in the pan. any one got some secrets to doing this. thanks again
-
flour the chicken first. after the chicken is cooked take it out and throw in a pat of butter and stir.
-
thanks lipton. but i asked OT for a reason.

Your trying to poison your food?

If thats the case,
After you cook the chicken, you need to add some butter and get all the flavory goodness scrapped off the bottom of the pan, then i would saute up some garlic for a few seconds, add flour and seasoning. Create a roue, if you have any chciken stock, add maybe a cup of stock, or a boullion cube and some water. Bring to a slight boil, and let simmer for 2 minutes, stirring often -
that worked great lipton. thanks.

Use olive oil, it's a healthier alternative than butter.
Using butter to cook on a regular will take 5-7 off your life.
Btw- Is it me, or does the OP title look like OT crooks? -
butter a touch of garlic and some salt with a pinch of pepper

Haha ok...I was about to immediately call my mom and tell her what I learned (she eats butter on the reg)
