last week it was around48 when I played. It was bad, really bad.
-
april's in upstate ny usually in the 30's a couple times when we start our league
-
I would have to say around 40 degrees.
-
Coldest ever is proly around 38 but that was a long time ago. Now days it has to be 60 or higher before i will play.
-
played in late september had to be about 40 sun was out so not bad the nabout 45 mins into the round. GG sun and hello hurricane winds. so with the windchill about 20-25. i was miserable.

also i suck at golf so, the extra 2-3 shots per hole than good golfers didnt help my enjoyment at all either -
This. 32F is freezing point so I dont get how they would let you play, not to mention the fact it would be like playing on a concrete course.
-
surely playing on it wont make much difference? the frost is still going to be there whether you are playing or not. in some ways it seems to be better when the course gets a bit wet. stops it getting so ground up

not sure on temperatures but i have played plenty or rounds where the course has been frozen. a lot of the time the only way to stop the ball is to bounce it off the frozen lakes. can be quite fun but not exactly good for the scorecard.
if i didnt play in the cold, i would barely play through the winter. -
at this time of year the grass is dormant. The ground wasn't frozen, but my hands sure were
-
In high school and college we had to play the schedule which involved some 30's rounds which are just miserable. One inparticular was 34 degrees with sideways rain/sleet and the tourney wasn't called because the host needed to win for nationals.
Now, I won't play voluntarily unless its like 60 and sunny. The only exception is the chili willy tournament in January in the snow. -
yeah when you start approaching 40's I'm out of there, forget 30's. I could never decide which was worst in the cold, hitting it near the grip in baseball or hitting it thin it golf.
-
i played in the 50s a lil bit a go and it was windy as fuck. Never againn. 60s and up.
thankfully most of the years its 60 and up here. -
anything under 40 deg is too cold
-
55 and rising at a minimum
-
played the other day in 33 deg light flurries, got real cold as soon as the sun started going away
-
Its been 30-32 and sunny here in michigan the last three days and Ive seen people playing on many of the courses. Personally ill wait until at least 40 and it will have to be sunny with no wind. Spring needs to hurry up, played once in florida a week ago and Ive got the itch.
Sidenote- I would be willing to bet almost everyones cold rounds are in the spring right? I played until it got below 45 in the fall but am considering playing in colder now just because I havent played in so long. -
