True, but that leaves you at a huge disadvantage

  5. I'd be in for $100.

    how can we pay?

but you're possibly draining the prize pool by 1700 bucks. 50 guys, 100 each=5k. -1.7k=3.3k

    Sounds pretty meh.
  7. id prefer no weekly prize aswell but would most likely play either way.
  8. Why not just do a main buy in of $100 and a degen side pool of like 25 a week for the perfect pool, participate if you want in that, once it hits or doesn't you can reload it.
  9. Do another one where u pick one team from every game and Monday nigha game are tie breakers that also go by total points.

We did that once at my office and I won lol
They never played again true story.
  10. should do a $100 pool and a $500 pool.

    Yep $100 = Eli's comin
    $500 = Romolicious
  12. Would love to do this.

As much as I love Tread's pool and the work he puts into it, I don't follow college football very closely. I live and breathe the NFL during football season, so making this like the Hilton Supercontest would be great.

I would vote no to the weekly prizes. I would also suggest adding something in between $100 and $500, like a $300 pool.

I can't wait for the NFL season. OT will be worth reading again, even though it will put me on massive tilt.

  13. I think a $250 pool might be good for everyone....can prob get 20 people to join and pay like 500, 1500 and 3000 or whatever for top 3

also, would rather have the full amount for the end, not weekly payouts for going 5-0 or whatever.

I'd volunteer to hold but I will be in Thailand for a month Dec-Jan....but def in for any amount up to 500
  14. In for up to 500.
  15. I would def be in. maybe not 500 but def up to 250. I suck at sports betting so is basically dead money lol

  16. I'm in for sure, I've done Tread's pool the last 2 years and its awesome but yeah I always pick just NFL stuff.

I imagine we can just use the lines the Hilton officially posts for their contest and follow their rules. I'm in the boat of not paying stuff weekly but I'm not totally opposed to it.

$100-$200ish would be best for me.
  17. All in favor of banning the ringer sharkzilla say I

    "I"
  18. Why don't we do a $100, $250, $500. I'm sure there's plenty of interest in all 3 levels. $250 gives something to those that might think 100 is too low, but 500 too high. We can at least gauge the interest in all 3 levels
  19. I'd be down for a hundo.
  20. yeah id be in for this. should just use the actual lines that Hilton posts for the supercontest, then we can compare OT vs the contestants in it
  21. $100 sounds pretty awesome, hate Hughes' idea tho.

If I'm gonna spam OT with all those weekly NFL preview/discussion threads every week again, I should at least have some minor financial motivation against the rest of OT.
  22. In for whatever amount people want.

  23. I'm about 90% sure I'm doing the Hilton Supercontest again this year, and my proxy I've used in years past has moved. Any LV based OTers interested?
  24. How much does the Hilton Supercontest cost?

  25. $1,500

So how does the proxy work? I sign up for this service (I'm guessing I pay some sort of fee? Anyone know how much?) and they submit my picks in person? What if I submit my picks and they fail to input them at the sportsbook?
