OT SuperContest for the 2012-2013 NFL season.

We'll be mirroring the LV-Hilton supercontest in which you pick 5 teams each week Against the Spread.
Your record accumulates throughout the year and the top scorers are paid.
Our Buy-in is $100

Rules and Ambiguities:
Pushes count for 0.5
Picks will be made via email.
The spreads will be posted as they are for the LVHilton contest on that Tuesday most likely.
Once you've submitted your picks, they may be changed provided that the deadline has not passed.
Weekly picks must be submitted by 8:00 PM ET on Saturday
If there is a Thursday game, you can pick that game if you submit all of your picks by 1 PM ET on Thursday.
There are no exceptions to the deadlines. If you're late, you'll get a zero that week.
For transparency, picks will be made public before games begin.
League members needn't be OT members.
The contest runs throughout the 17-week NFL regular season. Every week counts.

Tiebreakers are explained here:
20. Tie-breaking rules:
Tie-breaking rules will be applied to determine first place only. Entries tying for second through twentieth place, will equally split aggregate prize money from the respective place. If ties exist after the Pro Football regular season for first place, the champion will be determined based on the entry that accumulated the most contest points during the final three weeks of the regular season. If total points accumulated during the final three weeks is equal most points accumulated during the fourth to the final week will determine the winner, and so on weekly (in reverse order), until the tie is broken.
In the unlikely occurrence of a tie after the tie-breakers, co-champions will be declared and the aggregate prize money will be split equally.

4 cashers: the payouts will be : 50%. 25%, 15%, 10%
5 cashers: 45%, 25, 15, 10, 5
6 cashers: 40, 22, 15, 10, 8, 5
7 cashers: 38, 21, 14, 10, 8, 6, 3
8 cashers: 37, 20, 13, 9, 7, 6, 5 , 3
9 cashers: 35, 20, 13, 9, 7, 6, 5, 3, 2
10 cashers: 34, 18, 12, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2
11 cashers: 33.5, 18, 12, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.5
12 cashers: 33, 17, 11, 8.25, 6, 5.5, 5, 4.5, 4, 2.5, 1.75, 1.5
13 cashers: 32.5, 16.5, 11, 8.25, 6, 5.5, 5, 4.5, 4, 2.5, 1.75, 1.5, 1

2 adjustments to rules I would add,

1) Move deadline to 1:00 PM EST Saturdays. That way when saturday games start we don't have to make an announcement "get them in early" and don't have to hear "but but but the deadline said 8!" from the anglers.

2) Mandatory posting of the ROT numbers, make shit so much easier in an excel sheet.

International Members
Non-American Members are able to use LeagueSafe, however LeagueSafe’s full feature set may not be available to Members outside of America. International Members should be aware that the site is primarily intended for use by Americans, and operates under the assumption that Members reside in America. International users may get a different experience than American Members.

Notable restrictions include the following. Because every country uses a different e-check technology, payments and withdrawals cannot be performed from banks outside of the United States. Visa will not ship preloaded cards outside of the US. International Members can make payments by credit card, and withdrawals by paper check only.

From time to time, LeagueSafe may bill itself as a free site. In those instances, Americans have payment and withdrawals options at no cost. Those options are not available for international users, who will need to pay small processing fees associated with credit card deposits and paper check withdrawals.
