If I were a random in this pool and the league went from my control, I would frankly be disgusted.

Everyone agreed to have their money in the hands of Hughes4, one with various poker names documented and who has made at least a hundred legitimate sportsbets with pocketfive users.

Now it is in the hands of Niceguy, known for 0 poker names, being an African American jester, and having sex with some former Off Topic member.

But, you feel like taking the money into your own hands looks like anything more than a scam.

To maintain good standing in this community, you should return commissioner control ASAP.
You can continue to be in the league. I will pay you legitimately or you can back out for a full refund.

Everyone who has paid should voice an opinion promptly on what should be done.
But, ultimately the money is in Niceguy's hands right now.
Hopfeully, this isn't a move to steal everyone's money and he cares enough about the forum to do the right thing. And not what his perverted mind thinks is the right thing, but what the people whose money is at stake feel is the right thing.

Hopefully, anything short of handling this properly and promptly will be seen as a scam. The only thing wrong is our money is currently a hostage of Niceguy.

Honestly before now I've treated Hughes and Niceguy as the same person and now idk what's quite happening but we need to clear this up asap.

At this point we need more than 1 commish and I'm not sure who are the most trusted OTers in this contest but they should take control of the money if this is an issue which it clearly has become.

I'm fine with whomever running the day to day of collecting and posting picks. I'm willing to do whatever is needed to make this league run properly whether you guys trust me to help with money/picks or just helping choose people who should be in control.

Can somebody who has been around longer than I tell us who is most trustworthy in this mess? I'm confused on how this even happened.

That is the point. As one, we were commissioner. But because of LeagueSafe's inefficiencies, any commish can revoke anyone at any time.
And Niceguy decided it was his prerogative to do so on behalf of 24 people.

You two really just need to squash this shit and move on. I would say make Leets a commish then, he runs good leagues and has done so for yrs and yrs.

Also, co-commisioner has a disingenuous meaning. Any 1 commissioner can allocate funds with out the approval of the other. So instead of setting the league up as majority controlled, where every member of the contest gets to vote on the appropriate allocation of funds it was set to commissioner control by hughes.

If youre one of this league's 20 members who hasnt read the last abortionous pages of this thread, Nothing has changed. Well, a few things have changed, but nothing important.

For everyone in the league, we will now be sending picks by the posted deadlines to my email
(EMAIL REMOVED: it is available on the LS site, via PM, or any other way. I will also send something out via email so that everything is on the same page)

If anyone would like to volunteer to collect picks, that's cool.

The deadline for payment is 8 short days away and this is leaguesafe's hard and fast deadline.
