I know this coming week it will be a Tuesday for sure with the Wednesday game. Pretty sure last year though that they were released on Wednesdays all year but I guess that could change with the schedule change.

so far, the LV-Hilton contest has done nothing for the Wednesday night game so neither will we.

But the lines are posted when they're posted. You'll have the option to pick that game from posting until a few hours before kickoff.

Assuming Hilton will post lines on Tuesday this opening week, and then Wednesday every week after. If you are picking a Thursday game(or Wednesday week 1) you need to submit all 5 picks before kickoff of said game. Hughes listed 1 PM as the deadline of said day, I'm personally okay with later but them be the rules.

2012 Super-Contest

The idea is to download the updated version and use it in Excel as this will give you the best results, but for those that don't have access to Excel, the thumbnails on Google Docs should be sufficient to at least view things, and I will also likely make a simpler version (Standings only) in an actual Google Doc that is a copy from the Excel.

Have entered a few demo picks/games to test everything out, and looks to be good to go.

Hughes and I wanted to give a preview to everyone so that if anyone has any questions, concerns or suggestions, they can be addressed before the final workbook is put together. All the nuts & bolts, so to speak, are in place and mostly some simple copy/pasting needs to be done to fill out each of the different tabs for the 17 week season. I still might add a few more extraneous functions, such as a week-by-week results for each player, etc.. as time permits.

At any rate, a finalized version will definitely be ready by Sunday.

Looks awesome, the only thing I'd change is the win pct to just total wins (including half point pushes). It's the same thing, but will be easier to analyze the standings later in the year if it's a flat number instead of a percentage. Not a big deal though

Added overall points to the standings, as well as Max Points Possible and records for Current & Previous weeks.

I went with % as that is what seemed more familiar in terms of recognizing a good record at a glance (everyone knows that 65% is good, whereas 23.5 pts might not mean anything without more context). updated version is complete and ready for upload ---> 2012 Super-Contest

added the things above and fixed a little bug I found regarding a 1-pt winner in a pick'em

also unlocked cells so that you guys can play around with it a little bit if you want and enter stuff for 1st 3 weeks, picks for about 8 guys or so, any spreads/scores you want (the 1st 3 columns you see in 'Picks' will normally be hidden once Hughes enters each person's selections)

(one hint: if you want to see what the Standings would look like in Week 2, Week 3, etc... cell A1 in 'Standings' contains the week #, changing this will change Current/Previous)
