I booked a roundtrip ticket on priceline ~2 weeks in advance from LAX to Dusseldorf for $835 thru Delta.
Capital One Credit Card is the best for sure. Charles Schwab Debit Card, no atm fees.
And no, I didn't get any whores. Mainly I'll say it's because I have an awesome gf, however if I did... it's quite the hassle dealing with people who don't understand English.
Sidenote: I can't believe how effing humid it is here in Germany though. I take 5 swings on the range and break a sweat. -
where in Germany are you?

Ffs how did I forget that? Bad I'll be in moroc then, slight chance I'll make it up eariler but maybe. We are prolly going up around the 15 for a leg of the tour de france.
-
Lameass, you're as close as you're ever going to get to Galicia (check out Islas Dies--used to be all conservation land now has some tourism) or Asturias (drink lots of sidre) or Northern Portugal.
-
you might want to head back to Pamplona via the northern route, Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Basque

edit: just realized you meant you'd be in Morocco during running of the bulls. Not sure I got that right -

im in salamanca right now and this place is fucking crawling with good looking younger girls...the problem is i cant fucking tell if they are 15 or 20. a bunch of college students apparently. i may try to do something tonight. also a group of 6 damn good looking spanish girls just checked into my hostel. so i guess i should try something tonight since im prolly not going to in lisbon (maybe algarve) or morocco. i really need to come here with some friends damnit
-
if you are in a hostel just go up to people (anywhere, in the kitchen/lounge/your room) and simply ask them where they are from. i know that it sounds lame in the real world (but you are LAMEass, so maybe it fits) but it is totally legit and the way things work in the hostel world. a lot of times you just chat for 5 or 10 minutes about boring stuff but even if you just kind of get along with them you can head out for drinks or something later. obviously easier if it is just one or two people by themselves, not so much with 6 chicks.

oh dont worry about my social aspect. the 2 things against me are 1. i dont know their customs very well (and im a fucking loudmouth in the states, so im carefully being really quiet here) and 2. i cant speak spanish well at all. only very basic convos. i mean there is alot of english around this area and i probably will talk to some people, its just not all that easy when youre with your mom (who even though im 27 years old would still fucking freak out) and my sister (who would probably not care, but its the whole thing) its only noon30 here, ill get a gameplan in my head when we grab lunch in a lil bit (also, i love how vino comes iwth lunch everywhere)

Edited By: Lameass_ Jul 8th, 2012 at 11:32 PMive been drinking the piss out of vino(vinho) tintos. believe me, i am not a wine guy but these are great (and yes, their the cheap ones too). forgot to get vinho verde today but will tomorrow when we go to lagos. remind me again to ge some rioja when i get back to spain next week. beer out here isnt very good (like its been said, america pwns at beer) but efffffffffff me the girls are friggin gorgeous! (eff you espana)Originally Posted by thereraise
drink some of the awesome wines of Rioja and Priorat while in Spain, and some Vino Verde while in Portugal. It will still be fresh and maintain it's green (in a good way) profile, and Portugal keeps the best wines in the country.
And of course drink some awesome Port wine. Will have access to some incredible old and traditionally made Vintage ports being in the Country
Reason: your mother -
Heard Lagos is pretty nice. There aren't too many real towns out there, a lot of destination resorts, so you don't have all that much to choose from
-

Do you know where you're staying in Marrakech? I know of a cheap hotel that's very decent for the $$ and 2 blocks from the square
