  1. I dont watch mma or ufc. Hell, I couldn't tell you the difference. A friend of mine since we were about 12 has been always into this kind of stuff. I was just wondering, If his losing record (17-19-0) is against Quality opponents. Here's the link i have

  2. he is 17-19?

    Yikes.
  3. no idea, but i see one of his losses is to Jeff Joslin who owns a gym two blocks from me.
  4. any relation to Tupac?
  5. only been KO'd twice while racking up 8 of them. has only gone to 10 decision. just a bunch of submissions. sound like its pretty obv where he needs to get better but it looks like hes an exciting fighter to watch. and thats huge in the fight game

  9. Hasn't fought anyone in 4 years. Jim Miller is a badass these days but was kinda green in '07. OTOH Miller is a 155er, not really a 170er. After that your boy hasn't even fought anyone who has fought anyone. Mazvidal isn't awful.

You kinda have to go back a long way to find anyone else. Marcus Davis isn't awful but was really green when your boy fought him. Thiago Alves is a killer, and hasn't lost to a guy who isn't a top guy in several years, but again he was young and relatively inexperienced when your boy fought him.

Your boy stomps anyone he fights in a bar, but he's not really got any real quality wins.

  10. Thanks for the analysis auto. The only person on that list i've ever heard of was alves, but that was it.

  11. My buddy is in the same boat. He is going for the amateur title. He is one fight away from it. His name Is wayne Jurus. I talked to him the other day at the gym about it. The only problem is that if he wins he may or may not go pro. He is in his late 30s. Good luck to your boy
  12. He beat Marcus "Irish Hand Grenade" Davis, which is a quality win for sure. He lost to Jim Miller and Justin Wieman, who are both amazing fighters, so no respect lost there.

I'm sure your friend is a decent fighter, he's just not at an elite level. Just my .02
  13. your boy has a lot of experience against quality opponents, many currently in the UFC and strikeforce. thiago alves, marcus davis, drew fickett, nick thompson, jorge masvidal, jim miller, and brian foster are all very credible opponents. Seems pretty clear that he needs work on his wrestling + ground defense if he wants to take it to the next level.
  14. clearly he isn't good on the ground, from his record. His guard was super weak in that video. If he has knockout power and spends alot of time in a jiu jitsu gym he might end up doing really well.

  15. he is bad on the ground it seems...
  16. pretty cool he fought both miller and alves imo, even if they were green. millier is a legit contender.
