  9. OU v Texas showdown of power now becomes the focus of the Big 12.
    Go David Boren go!

    Fuck Texas.

Not sure I would want the entire Big East merged into Big 12 if they go that route, but would be good to get TCU and South Florida.

  10. I think Louisville makes a better fit than South Florida.
  11. South Florida is a big time up and coming athletic program, in a big-time recruiting area, in a big-time TV market. Louisville and Cincy are... Lousiville and Cincy. Louisville has a bit more history, but I just don't see them as great Big 12 additions... Louisville maybe.

  12. TCU would be a great addition to big 12. they are in the wrong geographic area for mountain west anyways.
  13. now that i look at a map i guess there really isnt a difference. thats mainly what i was talking about. i know, you're gonna tell me its not regional anymore

id be happy either way. beggars cant be choosers

  14. didnt make a whole lot of sense to go and add more schools after you just signed a long term TV contract. whole idea is to add teams before negotiating a TV deal so you have as many big cities/markets as possible which gives you maximum leverage. Unless the TV studios would just let them renegotiate which I highly doubt your just adding teams to split up the same piece of pie...doesnt make a whole lot of money sense in short term which this is all about money anyways.
