    I know The Vikings are super hungry for a win but I like my chances with Carolina here. They get Steve Smith back and Peterson has a gimpy hamstring. Gus might spark their offense a lil but if the Vikes win it it will prob only be by 3 points. I expect the Panthers to win this one outright though.

    Was just wondering if anyone else in OT was hopping on this game also. I think it's probably the best pick of the week we'll see how it works out for me.

    Ya you might very well be right. I hate betting against teams that are super hungry for a win. What also concerns me is playing in a dome on turf. Most grass teams hate playing on turf. I am hoping that Gus will be good for his usual 2-3 interceptions and I know that the Panther's confidence is soaring right now with Delhomme playing well. Getting Mushim back this year was big and Jonathan Stewart is a beast although he is unlikely to find much running room against the Vikes massive front line.

    but hey, I am taking a pessimistic approach to all the lines today... I have yet to make a bet on NFL this week and am currently on a 20k heater... just don't see anything of real value, just a bunch of gambles today...

    I'm gonna look thru marinersheep and dickau's posts again, those 2 know their stuff and something may jump out at me...

    #1 leak for most cappers imo... seeing a line that doesn't look right and not analyzing why that line is the way it is and usually just taking the "obvious" side

    dont underestimate vikings D, i know their secondary is shotty, but realize panthers lose last week if it wasnt for a fumble returned 40 yds for 7. Panthers might have the deep ball this week, but Ferotte should be able to utilize barrien a little more then jackson could and vikings should have a good shot at this one in the dome.

    I ended up placing a str8 pick on the Falcons and they came through for me but Carolina killed my parlay. I played a 3-3 parlay and won on the Titans and Falcons but the Panthers let me down. I should have taken that Baltimore pick or Cincy instead of the Panthers I knew it was gonna be a tough battle on turf in that loud ass dome. I was hoping Delhomme would come through with a late garbage td to cover the spread but he and the o-line played awful. That fumble before halftime was their death sentence.
