Ive been snoring since i was in the crib. Since then, it's only gotten worse. It's actually gotten so bad, and loud, that i actually wake myself up by snoring. Anybody use that C-pap machine i've been hearing about? Does it work? I've tried breath right strips but no luck.

Also, losing weight doesn't matter for my snoring. I'm almost back to my HS weight and I'm snoring as bad as ever. Any other remedies other than breath-right strips and the C-pap machine? What works for you? -
Have you seen a doctor about your problem? You could have a deviated septum that might be fixed with surgery.

c-pap machines aren't for people who have prob snoring, they are for people who have trouble getting the quality sleep levels you need.

Go to the doc to see if its apnea. If not try those mouth things that push lower jaw forward. Also, vicks vaporub can open nose/throat. If that doesnt work try putting veggie oil on your earlobes and a large carrot in your ass. Glgl

Have you tried sleeping in different position? I snore extremely loud when I sleep on my back. I have had several people make comments to me about how it scared them in the middle of the night. When I sleep on my stomach I do not snore.

i used to just talk in my sleep, now i snore. actually works out well, i don't won't some slut to be there when i wake up anyway

Have you had a sleep study? If you snore loudly, you could have sleep apnea, which can improve w/ a CPAP. My brother wears one and swears by it. Sleep apnea is a serious and deadly condition. I would see a dr. if I were you.

The Hookers never stay the night so snoring isnt an issue

all of this. doubt vaporub helps much, but the rest is A+ advice.

if you're snoring is preventing you from maintaining REM sleep for a prolonged period it could seriously effect your memory. My dads buddy had this problem and one day he showed up to his job of 25 years and couldnt remember how his machine he operated worked. went to the doctor and he was waking up every 3 minutes throughout the night and lost a lot of his brain power as a result.

I would lol if Poopy woke up one day spouting off Fox News talking points and trolling Supremo.

I had a sleep study about a year ago. They told me i don't have apnea but I snore really really loud (although the tech said the my blood oxygen level did dip to about 88% at one point...whatever that means). Is it possible that the tech was terrible and messed up my sleep study results? Should I get another one?

I haven't heard of the mouthguard thing for snoring. I'm gonna look into that one. Breath-right strips are useless.
