  2. Cable modem > Dial up
  3. Bring back the old paging system... Where a new page wouldnt be created until someone replied to the original post with more than 15 posts on the current page... It was basicly unlimited posts on each page.
  4. lol, yeah I have a dial up. We also have to go get water from the well for the poop boxes. I was being serious.

I find it hard to believe that isn't configurable in the current version of the site. I'm pretty sure they switched to a standard forum package when they redid it last time. For many sites the user can select this himself. If they are doing some kind of weird indexing based on page numbers, they I can see it being a problem, but if that is the case then the search feature should work better than it does.

Please send your application to join the programming team to dhubermex. I have a few things in mind that would seem relatively easy to accomplish and would improve things also.

  10. First bring back the little "new" pic that told you which posts weren't there last time you read through a thread.
  11. There are many things I miss about the way it used to be, but there are probably about as many things I like better. It's basically comes down to you can't make everyone happy.

I do agree with OP tho.
  12. 2nd this...also how if the OP is really long, it goes to more pages faster? makes no sense to me...also an option to not repeat the OP on every page (annoying having to page down long OPs for each page).

I'm sure they're working on this stuff in the next revamp though
  13. It would be awesome to get the hide thread feature back without having to open the thread... It is the only feature I really miss.

I never knew this is how it turned the page! I'm dumb...

I think this was one of the biggest reasons that the site used to crash, so it's unlikely that this feature will return :( It's one of the things I miss the most tho.
