The Greenbrier Resort course in West Virginia is about to surrender the lowest scores ever.

In the history of the PGA, there have only been four rounds in the 50s. There will be that many today. For the week, I am going to guess there may be as many as 20 rounds shot in the 50s, maybe more.

The winning score for the week could be as low as 40 under.

Another crazy thing you will see is the money that is going to be handed out when one of the pros makes a hole in one. They are going to pass out hundred-dollar bills to fans in the stands. It's going to be wild.

This is a very easy course compared to what the pros are used to playing.

Hitting houses? When I was a kid I used to hit balls all the time in the backyard. I probably hit our house hundreds of times.

I mean obviously this thread is just a joke, but i would give you plenty of action that nobody will break 60 in the next 10 PGA events and i would feel really comfortable giving odds on it too.

To me breaking 60 on ANY Pga course has to be for sure like top 3 most ridiculous achievements in any sport.

I mean it's not like they don't make the course conditions tougher for pga tournaments or anything. I heard the Old White course's greens are crazy and I am sure they them made the real fast for this week.

This kid shot a 57 yesterday in the Alabama State Junior Championship.

It should also be mentioned that Chuck Norris holds the record for lowest round every played, a 17 at Pebble Beach.

So, Compton shoots seven under at 63 to lead after the first day.

I am surprised the scores were not lower and I really expected the pros to tear up Old White.

I did have some information on which to base my outlandish predictions. A friend of mine followed Sergio Garcia in the pro-am yesterday and said he was 11 under. Another friend had played the course and said he hit driver, eight-iron into the No. 1 handicap hole on the course.

Still think somebody could shoot 59 this week but I am wrong so far in thinking the pros were going to tear it up a lot worse.

I bet the average 14-year-old knows the difference between "there" and "their," you dumb fuck.

    But back to the golf.

Another piece of evidence was the fact that the runner-up in the WV Amateur played on the same course in June shot a 66 on the second day. That's when I decided that the pros were going to shoot a lot lower than that. Even with tougher pin placements and longer tees, I still thought the pros would shoot more than three shots better than a WV amateur.

so 20 rounds in the 50's? when a sub 60 round has only been shot 4 times in PGA Tour history? BTW I think the West Virginia Amateur tournament and a PGA sanctioned event are going to be a little different in the way of pin positions, green speed/firmness, length of the rough, fairways, distance to pin, etc etc.....

Also keep in mind that this course is a par 70 so that will make it easier for a round to be in the 50's, but still...light yourself on fire OP u dumbfuck
