    Last week LeBron James made news after getting dunked on by a college player at a pick-up game and then confiscating tapes of the play. In my post about the unseen dunk on our college basketball blog, The Dagger, I wrote:

    In an incident eerily similar to LeBron's Dunkgate, the San Diego Chargers quarterback was schooled by a younger, less-experienced player during an activity at one of his camps. The only difference is, Rivers didn't send one of his lackeys to grab the tape of said incident to make sure it never saw the light of day. (Or he did and the lackey wasn't quick, or intimidating, enough to accomplish said task.)

    I missed the Lebron story, but I cannot think of a single thing that is douchier than attempting to confiscate a tape when u get shown up. why the fuck would the kid give the tape up, and why the fuck would lebron care. makes me laugh just thinking about it.

    The people taping it had to give up the tape or face legal problems because supposedly they werent supposed to be taping. Even tho nobody ever has a problem with it, thats how bball players get high school highlight tapes.

    Philip Rivers is not.

    I really wouldn't be surprised if there are racial/cultural reasons for James's behaviour. This makes him look like the biggest cunt in a sport where there is no short supply.

    It was confiscated only because it was illegal for reporters to tape anything from that camp

    Yea. The report that came out from Nike/Lebron's PA was complete bullshit. Video cameras were alowed, and the game that was being taped was not after hours of the camp as stated by Nike/Lebron's PA so it was fair game. The vidiographers just got deboed into giving them up really.

    if thats the case it makes more sense but is still stupid to me. why would they wait until lbj gets punked to try and confiscate it though?

    lol @ phillip rivers not being gay. Hes done nothing in the league and thinks hes a superstar he needs to get his spine shattered by dwight freeney this season.
