    I joined DaVols' micro bowl pool just for fun. I had no clue about football, so I bet the underdog in every game. I obv had to watch some of the games when I had bet on it, and it was a lot more entertaining that I had thought. Soooo... Now I like football, but I dont have a favorit team. Please pick one for me, you also need to give me a good reason why this team should be my favorite one.

    Edit: Remember to post what league they play in cause I have no idea. I need one team in NCAA and one in NFL

    or for pros, the New England Patriots because they're the best.

    I think you should describe your personality, that may help determine your team.

    For example, if you are a decent, honest person you should root for the Colts.

    If you are a classless, cheating, lying jerkoff you should root for the Patriots.

    for NFL - Definitely Arizona Cardinals .. First, when you root for them, nobody will ever consider you bandwagon because they have only made the playoffs once in their franchise HISTORY! however they have a good upside, and are close to turning the corner.. think buying stock low, with the ability for it to potentially skyrocket.. plus they are semi exciting to watch, and play in an easy division, so you shouldnt have to deal with overly horrible seasons, and they play a ton of close games so fun to watch overall..

    for College - probably a tradition team, if i had no state ties i would say probably Miami University.. hot girls, hot fans, nice weather.. Good location for recruits, this team will never go more than 5 year period of suckiness, and when they get a good squad, they are exciting to watch... great tradition and history

    Part of having a favorite team is hating other teams. Example, I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan thus I hate the Redskins, Eagles, and Giants. Not only do you have to root for your team but you have to root against other teams in your division. When you pick a favorite team I suggest you pick a team that has a strong tradition and Great rivalries. Aside from the Dallas Cowboys(NFC East) some to consider.

    Chicago Bears(NFC Central)
    Green Bay Packers(NFC Central)
    Oakland Raiders(AFC West)
    New England Patriots(AFC East)

    Those are just a few of course. In college If you want to be hated by everyone you know and some people you dont know you could Root for Notre Dame(independant). Notre Dame is probably the only College where people either love em or hate em, there is usually no in between with that team.

    The Miami Dolphins is also my pick. If you can sit through a season of watching them play, then you truly are a fan of the game.

    ok, for college its Notre Dame unless someone can convice there is a better reason to like another team.

    The only football game I had ever watched before the bowl games, were Dallas vs Buffalo in the superbowl a lot of years ago. I think i kinda rooted for Dallas that game, and I might pick them.

    For the love of God don't pick Notre Dame. I'm no FSU fan but they are cool as hell to root for, so are teams like LSU, Miami, Penn St., Texas, hell even USC is better than Notre Dame. I live in Missouri and they're program is def on the upswing as well.

    Pros, just so you know Dallas is known as "America's Team." You might want to pick something a little more subtle like the Colts, Bears, or Panthers.

    Miami University is in Ohio. Not the best of weather there. The University of Miami is in Florida, and probably offers a better climate.
