    I started this on my snowboarding forum a couple years ago. Ended up being very successful, thread is still running with some really amazing pictures. Figured I'd give it a shot here. You don't have to be a photographer or have great quality images to post. Whatever is fun.

    The idea is a thread where people can post a picture a day. Doesn't matter what it is of, when or where it was taken. If you want to include a small caption or story that is up to you but it is usually better to include some background info. If people follow the rules and participate it will end up being very cool.

    Only 2 rules
    1. Only one picture per day per poster--no more
    2. Has to be a picture you took or you are in. Something from your personal collection, not from google or another source

    I'll start. Here is a photo I took yesterday of some rice fields in Northern Thailand

    Our view from our cabin on the yearly fishing trip. There is no road access and this entire lake/river system are basically ours to explore for 5 days. Some nice Northerns and pickerels coming out of here

    Banff, Alberta, just fyi the resolution in this pic is very low that is why it is blurry. The original is much better.

    This is a picture I took from my hotel room in Aruba in 2009, two of my friends were playing in the Aruba classic and I just went to chill and what not, was there for 3 weeks. Sick place to be. sorry about the size of the pic, had to get it off my facebook and then email it to myself so I could put it on here. I suck pretty bad with comps.

    I love this thread! These photos are amazing. Here is my contribution. This is Craggy Gardens outside of Asheville, NC (Pisgah National Forest). The picture does not do it justice, the view is stunning.

    it's the Aspen of Canada, if you want I can send you the full res version where you can see the bunkers, greens, windows on the hotel, and the actual streets in the town
