  1. I'm buying a canvas painting that's 16" x 19.7" with 1.57" border.... can anyone who's familiar with buying frames tell me how big of a frame I'm looking for?

  8. I think this is the worst thread ever created

Even the shittiest of threads usually have the potential to lead to some sort of discussion

  10. aside from the Plattsburg points which OP clearly deserves ...

why not take said canvas painting to a framing store and ask them for suggestions? I don't think you can just go to wallmart and buy a typical picture frame for something like this.
  11. 16197 Platt points.
  12. Canvas painting with a border? Is it already stretched over a wooden backing frame?
  13. I could be wrong here...but if you buy a painting that you want to frame I doubt you're going to Wal-Mart to buy it. Therefore the guy at the frame store could probably tell you?
  14. should go get a custom frame done because I doubt you find anything that's going to be a solid fit off a shelf. and i don't agree with framing canvas paintings
