  1. Has anyone seen this movie before?

I watched it on shrooms last night and it had to be the most fucked up movie I have ever seen. Pretty sure they mave it on a lot of drugs for people on drugs.
  2. I watched it just last night actually. I thought it was terrible compared to Death Proof (the other movie from the Grindhouse double-feature). I like Death Proof a LOT, but I didn't like Planet terror much at all. Rodriguez was solid in it, but other than that it was pretty crappy. I can't stand Rose McGowan, she's fairly hot obv, but she's a HORRIBLE actress. When I was watching Death Proof, I remember thinking out loud that she was a REALLY really bad actress, and then I was bummed to see she would play a big role in Planet Terror. I wish JT offered me some bbq, lol, why did they always turn it down. Oldschool Texas bbq ftw no? I mean c'mon wtf. Pretty decently made cinematically, but it was just too silly, couldn't really get into the plot much at all, or really get into it.

    I give it a C+ or maybe a B- at best
  3. lol at not getting into the plot of a zombie movie. planet terror rules man. rose has her leg replaced with a huge fuckin gun.
  4. I watched it last week, I liked it but have not seen Grindhouse yet. Excited as I think everyone has said that one is better. agree with bfactor on grade.
  5. It wasn't scary/serious enough. Obv a zombie movie isn't gonna have a very good storyline/plot or anything, but making it overly silly and somewhat comical hurt it. They should kept it on a more serious tone, with just instances of comic relief, rather than just keeping it light the whole way practically. I did state in my previous post though, that cinematically speaking, it was well made. Nicely directed/shot with lots of random cool scenes, like Rodriguez randomly matrixing it up in the hospital, or spinning his guns and JT saying his "He's got the devil in him" line, or the pocket bike wheelie scene lol, etc. Definitely pretty entertaining, but still, it was outclassed by Death Proof.
  6. I wasnt sure it the shrooms were just making me LOL but now I realize it truly is a fd up movie.

  7. It was done as a B-movie.

It was supposed to be cheesy.

I throughly enjoyed over Death Proof... DP was just to slow for me at first... Especially if you watched the Grindhouse double feature in the theatres... You get an hour and a half of intense shoot 'em up action, then everything slowed down for the next flick.

    I give this B-Movie a solid B.
  8. x2. No, not at all scary but totally badass. Death Proof I could have done without the last half of... too bad it started off great.
  9. Kurt Russell was outstanding in Death Proof. I was annoyed by how bad Rose McGowan's acting was as the blonde chick he gave a ride to, as well as the woman who was driving the car when they were doing ship's mast. Rosario was so-so. I liked the cheerleader though. The weirdness of the movie was what made it so great though. Just little things you never really see in movies. Like Kurt randomly smiling at the movie audience right before he gets into his car, or the way he does all those burnouts over and over again in front of the chicks. It was just such a weiiiiiiiiiirdddd movie, I liked it.
  10. I'll give you that bfactor, good points.

And as far as the acting goes, check out any cheesy 70s or 80s B-Movie, that's just part of the nostalgia.
  11. Anyone see the preview before called something like Machede?
All I remember is cheech saying you just fked with the wrong mexican. LOL

  12. That was my favorite trailer of the bunch!

Danny Trejo was great in that.

Robert Rodriguez is set to direct in 2008.
  13. Hahaha, yea that guy has been looking like a scaaaary motherfucker in movies since I can remember. He looked just like that 15ish years ago when I first remember seeing him in movies. That was funny when he asks Machete if he's ever killed anyone before. Hahaha, lawl.
  14. He knows the score. He gets the women. And he kills the bad guys! <object height="355" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IbhuPYdgQjc&rel=1"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IbhuPYdgQjc&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" height="355" width="425"></object>
