  1. 3 friends and I are looking for the cheapest flight in and cheapest flight out from the U.S. to Europe, about 4 weeks apart. No planned vacationy stuff, just going to make it from point A to point B in the time allowed.

If you have any insight I'd appreciate it.

Also, save for the obvious touristy stuff that we really have no interest in (i.e. Eiffel Tower, Leaning Tower, any other towers...), what are some lesser known places or things we ought to make our way to?

    Thanks in advance.
  2. pm nechita. he went recently
  3. were exactly are you going? If you point out what countries exactly you are going to then i can help
  4. If you're a student, go through student universe.. I'm flying into Munich in mid May for 6 wks and got my round trip ticket for under 500.. let us know when/where you plan on being tho.. lots to do during the summer

sounds like you wanna go to eastern europe. czech republic, poland, hungary and ukraine is filled with cheap booze, easy hot chicks (buy the cheap bottles) and party spots. Amsterdam FTWeed, and expensive hot chicks (stoner chicks arent that hot). Or you can go to Christiania in Denmark where weed is somwhat legal and the ppl are cool.

Once you land in Greece you can island hop cheaply. There's smth in the drinking water that make the girls even sluttier than your typical british girls. Just in case though, the majority of tourists in these islands are slutty british girls. If you go in august, an island called Zakynthos is famous for its blowjob contest.
  6. I just got back from being over there for 3 weeks. where is point A and where is point B? pm me or ask on here, we had the ins and outs of traveling through europe down by the time we left so whatever you need to know i can help.
  7. dont go with friends, go alone... or if u have to go with friends, take 5-7 days to visit a city or 2 by yourself, great experience... europe is the nuts
  8. http://www.1800flyeurope.com/index.cfm

I used this site to go to Italy a few years ago for $410 JFK to Rome / Milan to JFK
  9. salzburg, austria

non-touristy, beautiful castle, you can go skiing an hour outside of it, river-rafting, stay at the yoho (international youth hostel) clean, fairly small, bavarian city. yw.

and it's an hour away from munich, if you want to go to the beer halls.
  10. Thanks all.

One bump just to see what else I can get.

  11. If you want to see what Great Britain is really like, visit Blackpool on a weekend in the summer. Expensive but sluttier than anything I've ever seen.

I'll be there in mid-July obviously!

Every major city in Western Europe is fleecing tourists at the moment. It doesn't help that the Euro is so strong. As you're not so keen on the typical touristy bits, this shouldn't be too tough.

There are nice Black Sea resorts sprouting in Bulgaria (i.e. Varna). My friend did some of that development and says its really nice.

Make sure you are obviously American if you go to any Eastern Europe big cities. They are very wary of us Brits as we have gone en masse on Stag Parties and basically trashed them (massively boosted their economies though). Anyway, they don't like us so you'll be alright.
