    We all do it: drink and play.

    So, what is everyone's drink of choice?

    Beer? If so what kind? Captain and coke? Maybe just red bull or coffee?

    I myself like to start hitting the Stone Brewery IPA to get the poker juices flowing. Although this usually is why I end up with a headache and a lot of money missing from my account. I'm trying to just drink water now when I play but its just not the same.

    Don't drink at all when I play online. I'm strict on myself with that rule. I may go to the bar, have a couple beers and drive home but I aint playing any poker

    Stone makes some damn good beer. Always pisses me off when people put down American beers, the mainstream shit does suck but we have some great micro brews

    also if you drink too much beer while playing ur gunna have to piss mid-game and bathroom laptops can be tricky if ur multi-tabling

    coffee during morning sess, then water for the rest of the time. i've completely cut out my alcohol drinking while playing online

    I only play live poker and I dont always drink, but when I do I prefer Hot chocolate with a shot of Baileys.

    I only play drunk at a cheapo nightly 100 at a casino with less than 100 runners, or a SNG satti in Vegas where the average player is half as good sober as I am drunk. That honestly isn't a brag, they are horribad.

    Edit: Obvi, only do this for a fun night now and then (like 3x in 3 years.)

    With the exception of coffee & Bailey's, I don't drink at all while playing, either live or online. I absolutely can not drink even one beer without getting sleepy, maybe I should try whiskey & coke or something though, might loosen me up a little. I just feel like I would likely get too aggressive preflop, and refuse to fold hands to the river (keep on betting, and always think someone betting is bluffing).

    water like 95% of the time, some type of soft drink the other 5%. I only drink alcohol when playing live, and that's only a few beers at that.
