I saw Rivers and Gates and knew the list sucked, no need to look further than that
-
it's kind of a tell-tale sign when even the homer can't mention him by name
-
you think coaches and players are gonna select a lot of those dirty ass players. LOL I bet NO player voted for Suh.
ya know ...who is the Saints punter? And who really gets upset when their teams punter isn't selected?Originally Posted by Hughes4

you a Saints fan... you got Drew Brees, your team is in the playoffs....whats to complain about? -
Yes the determining factor for defensive pro bowl selection should be tackles. Shows what you know about defensive football.

Pro Bowl is a joke anyways.. UNWATCHABLE!
MLB All-Star game is leaps and bounds above the fucking Pro Bowl.. and baseball is boring. -
LOOOOL no stafford but eli yes? what?

Giants record: 8-7

Stafford's Stats: 4518 yards, 64%, 36 TDs & 14 INTs. 96.6 rating
Lions record: 10-5

Thank you.
Get fucked Eli slappy. -

that's what i thought.
He is listed as the punter but he should be in the probowl for PK. He has a ridiculous % of touchbacks this year. Highest in league iirc. -
Eli Manning, the guy who went 9/27 and 180 yards including a 99 yard run by Cruz in a must win game, is in the Probowl. At least Rivers is in because the entire rest of the AFC quarterbacks is pathetic.
-
Tebow write-in.

yup, he had one bad game so he's automatically disqualified. Another awesome post from you serlin. -
pump the brakes bro.. he sure as hell didn't have many sacks either. He was listed probable every week and don't even think he played a full game (snaps wise). He is listed at 7.5 sacks for the year.. at least 5 of those had to of came after week 9 or 10 when I dropped him. Only reason I mentioned tackles is I knew he had to have only a handful for the year, and I am not even going to assume that I personally could even register a sack in the NFL. However, you can keep putting words and my mouth and get butt hurt.. that's fun to watch too.

I watched every Giant game this year. Cruz is the reason Eli's stats are so good. Just about all of Cruz's 8 tds were long runs after the catch. In fact, Eli had only 1 game over a 108 passer rating. Romo had 7.
-
What is this I don't even ...

He put up 71/1262/8 so far this season, and has been catching passes from Kevin Kolb and John Skelton.
I mean LOL at using team record to prove your point.Originally Posted by shallowcal

The two are pretty close, Stafford should get points deducted for throwing balls to Calvin Johnson, just like Jordy Nelson and Greg Jennings should get points deducted for catching balls from Aaron Rodgers (or Larry Fitz should get bonus points for catching passes from John Skelton, however you want to look at it.) -
London Fletcher slighted AGAIN, how does this keep happening?
-
Miller totally deserved it for the Broncos. Dudes a terror when teams game plan a rookie and throw double coverage on him with dumervil over there getting single coverage.
-
they also had competent QBs throwing them the ball
-
+they also never get doubled and probably arent the most talented wrs on their own teams

Think you could make a good case for either Eli, Romo, or Stafford to get that 3rd spot. They're close enough where it would be tough to consider it an outrage no matter which of the 3 got it.

All 3 having damn good years. -
Stafford is the future. When was the last time you saw a guy in his first full season have a chance at 40 touchdown passes? And 4,800 passing yards?

dont mention that bradshaw missed the 4 toughest games of the season, manningham dropped a zillion passes, he was throwing to a no name tight end and no one knew who victor cruz was before this season. Or that the giants trailed in every game this season. EVERY single game. It's a lot easier to put a "108 rating" (as if it matters) when you are playing from ahead.
eli has been pretty damn bad the last 2 weeks, i admit. But I'd also bet the pro bowl voting was done before those games when his stats were a lot better cumulatively. -
The really brilliant talent evaluators saw it as early as preseason, August 2010.

I agree very impressive, but it's not like he's a rookie. He has just been hurt, also passing this year is PRETTTTTTTTTTY easy apparently.

A good article talking about the non-deserving pro bowlers.
