    Anyone have experience with this? Is it all just a giant scam? I figure with all the vegas residents and sports bettors here someone will have some input.

    Not scam in the way you're thinking but definitely don't send them any $ whatsoever. Worked for one a long time ago.

    I tried this about 5 years ago. The picks that I had bought went about 30% and the guy wouldn't send more free ones to make up for that crap (not that I necessarily wanted more losers). I have no idea if some are good and some are bad, but from my experience it was a big scam.

    I can't win in sportsbetting no matter what I do. I am pretty sure there are a lot of people in this boat. I have done it all, tried to follow others, gone on a big heater myself only to blow it by making bets that are way more than my usual unit, etc.
    I had a sick streak on here actually years back and brought a few people down in flames who tailed me after I got hot.

    ITs just like poker training sites. IF you can get some clown to give you money for advice on a non beatable game unless your lucky then that awesome.

    Definitely not this. There are some poker training sites that provide a lot of good information and can help people improve much more quickly than they would otherwise. There are also handicapping services that will allow the people who bet with them to make quite a bit of money (but it is tough to get value from a subscription to one of these services unless you have quite a bit of money to wager). In both cases though, you will have to wade through a lot of the shitty training sites/ handicapping services to find the good ones

    hey man, i lost a really good amount of $$$ on betting pro basketball while i was in college, when i was betting on 3-4 games a night.

    what i can offer you is to give you all of my picks on the nights you want to bet, and you can just go the opposite way.

    my commission is 5% of winnings

    I was really into sports betting during my last year of high school and all throughout college. Wanted to be a professional sports gambler ala Lefty from Casino. I think i had one winning year out of like 6 years or i heavily betted on sports and that was for like 300 dollars or something like that. All other years i lost anywhere from $750-$1250 but i spent alot of time and research tyring to beat the game. Then i found poker, a game i could actually gamble at and win and saw sports betting as the leak that it was.

    right after college though my brother and i created a website called GodFather Sports. My brother was responsible for the website maintenance and marketing and i was responsible for the picks. He found some site were we would post like a daily free pick for the public to view and they could then buy picks if they wanted. I specialized in basketball and the NBA(I love this game) and i remember i went on a huge heater beating O/U's mainly for a good part of December to February and in late December a bunch of people starting buying my picks and me and my brother made like $1000 each for Jan and Feb where it was crazy. Had people buying weekly and monthly packages and I was winning too. Sadly variance brought me back down to earth in march and i had a horrible, like losing almost every day type of month and lost all my customers but i can truly say 99% of the touts are like me just full of shit trying to ride heaters and milk customers that way.

    But there are legit sports betters on Vegas Insider that you can buy picks and profit from them, but like someone said earlier you need to have a pretty good bankroll to gamble with, I'd say at least $10,000+ cause you have to factor in the price of picks into how many units you need to bet and the winning % the prognasticator needs to achieve for you to be profitable. Then you have to have very good discipline and solid bankroll management and really stick to the plan for it to be remotely profitable, and usually those are the areas that kill almost all the degen sportsbettors in the first place which is why they lose and look to buy other picks in the first place.
