    Thought these videos were pretty sick and figured I'd share... never seen skimboarders this good before



    Here's a video with them gettin towed in, looks hard as hell on that kind of board

    so hard to find a beach that breaks right for skimboarding, at least on the east coast

    also it hurts like all hell getting cut the fuck up by shells

    edit: never seen anyone being towed before though

    That first vid was probably the most epic shore break conditions I have ever seen. Nice, slow curling right hand break. Those guys were shredding that.

    ya man it's huge up here in Vancouver, I've got a shorter trick board (kinda like what the chick has in that video) with a lotta curve on it for poppin up air. The problem with it is it's wood and doesn't stay afloat for long in the deeper water, even at high speeds...

    After watching those other vids I think I'ma have to get a longer board, I wanna ride the breaks like those guys, that shit looks awesome.

    I didn't know you could skimbnoard on a big wave. I've only seen it like the chick does it.

    At least my wife liked the music soundtrack, she gave me a sly grin when she saw what it was I was watching though.
