I've never seen Aliens and Independence Day was decent but super cheesy. Sci-fi and horror are probably my two least favorite genres, so I don't typically get excited over movies like Armageddon, The Core, The Day After Tomorrow, 2012, Cloverfield, etc. etc.

Even tho I'm not a big fan of Sci-fi I try to remain objective and the Prometheus trailer just didn't interest me much aside from some pretty amazing visuals. -
wouldnt surprise me if its a pile of crap...the insane amount of promotion makes me think its probably not great
-
Just got back from seeing it like I said I'm not much of a scifi fan at all but i thought it was pretty fking awesome id give it 8/10 if I was a scifi fan would be 9/10 prob
-
Soooooo what did you think of the ending scene? And stay after the credits, there is mething in the credits you can read that hints Sf something
-
Fk me I didn't stay either what happened?
-
I see a lot of people aren't too crazy about this film, but I fucking loved it. Creepy, beautiful, gross all at the same time. 9/10

They show the Weyland image and it has a date 10-11-12 with something under it. I can't remember what it says, people are saying its the date of the NY comic con and they will announce something, but there are many theories
-
Just.saw it, it was great. Dont understand how anyone couldnt like it.
-
I thought that that's not the traditional alien. it had human teeth, that's prolly a hybrid that kills xenomorphs with a flick of his second human teeth.
-
Oh wow I didn't see that it had human teeth and the more I think about it this is in my top 5 all time
-
Is it worth seeing this movie in 3D?
-
I guess you have to be a die hard Sci Fi fan to over look the unanswered questions.. I did enjoy the film but leaving SO much unanswered was obv set up for a sequal and that left me with sour taste for the movie.
-
I give this movie an 8 out of 10. Spectacular images, overall solid acting to go with a great score. Original story with very little interference from the other Alien movies. Ending was obviously the best.
Plot was slow at times, some things didn't make sense and i didn't really care for the lead, she was kinda meh. They did leave a lot to be answered, but I supposed that was the intent.
Is it possible that the "unnamed planet' they went to was the first planet from Alien? And that the Alien has just evolved and evolved? -
Dk guess that's possible but I assumed that was the first ever alien at the end and it evolved in the movie
-
It's not vulgar or anything like that. A few tense moments, but nothing they should have a problem with.

I will be seeing Madagascar with daughter and niece :) -
Saw it today. Visually stunning. Way too many unanswered questions. Still have no clue why Hollaway was poisoned by David. I hated the fact that they kept saying "they made us" like it was a given fact.

Just got back from seeing it. This is pretty much exactly how I feel...
