question about Master Cleanse

    Has anyone ever tried the Master Cleanse, Lemons, Grade B Maple Syrup, and Cayenne peppers mixed in with water? You are supposed to only consume that mix and water as well as doing a salt water flush for 10 days. Everyone I talked to that has done it says they felt great after doing it, and there is not much criticism I saw to it on the internet. Any first-hand accounts, or stories you heard about it would be appreciated. Thanks.

    master cleanse is a product, you are talking about the lemonade diet or something like that. i did about 3 years ago on a bet with a girl at work. Was really really hard the first 2 days then i stopped missing food or feeling hungry, felt more energy and lossed 8 lbs. started eating, felt better, put the weight back on within a week.
    so, can't tell ya much other than i wasted 10 days worth of eating

    I checked out the first link with Dr. Z's criticism. The majority of people who commented to his article( http://blog.healthtalk.com/zimney/ma...t-master-scam/ ) were in favor of the cleanse. Running through that list it also seems Dr. Z's name came up a lot. I know a nutritionist that put a few of his clients on this recently, I also brought it up at my work and a few co-workers have done it and all said they felt much better afterwards. I didn't know it was used for weight loss either. Just curious.
