    I am goin to the Barcelona Trny at end of August just to hang out unless i satty in. My question is I want to go to Ibiza for a cpl days after the trny. Does anyone know best way to book tickets? Can/Should I book them now? Or is it like the trains over their and U dont really need reservations? Not really sure how it works, also any particular place to stay?

    First of all IBIZA is an island so you wont find many trains that go there.

    You can get there by ferry or by plane...ferry is not so fast or cheap so plane is definatly you best option. There are a couple of low cost airlines flying from barcelona to ibiza, so the sooner u buy the best price you can get.

    The ferry from Barcelona takes about 8 hours and there is the option of going over night. There is a high speed ferry from Alicante that takes about 4 hours, but Alicante is 4 hours south of BCN by train. I would suggest flying on Iberia. It is less than an hour flight, but the above poster was right, the sooner you book, the cheaper your ticket will be. Once you get there, party your ass off, lol =)

    Spanair or Vueling> Flight is cheap....and only takes about a half hour.
