We have a few hispanic folks that work in my office and while I am in no way racist, it tilts the fuck out of me when they come walking in and all of a sudden start holding a convo in spanish in front of 5 or 6 of us that speak english and english only.

My thoughts on this are if they want to speak spanish outside the office it's all good. But when they are in an english speaking office they should man the fuck up and speak english or shut the fuck up. I also feel that if they want to speak spanish in the workplace they should go back to the country of their origin, get a job, and have at it. These folks do understand how to speak, read and write in English so this seems like a no brainer to me
whadaya think OT?
Reason: spelling -
They are speaking about your tiny penis.
-
would you feel better if they whispered in English?
-
do they point at you and laugh?
maybe you're a little over sensitive... -
I didn't expect anything more than these kind of 10 year old replies. Pretty typical here these daze.

And to be honest, I made no issue out of it when it went down but others in the office did take offense to them speaking in a language other than English and I was just curious as to what you guys thought. -
LOL

do you hear the word, "maricón" a lot when they are giggling at you?
-
op has some nerve to call out ppl replies as juvenile, when op is "tilts the fuck outta me, man the fuck up or shut the fuck up" or " go back to your own country" if you want a real debate chill the fuck out. weak post all around imo.
-
lol u mad
-
Personally, I think it's rude.
-
and also when op has a disclaimer in 1st sentence that he is not a racist, it is usually a good indicator that hell y he is.
-
Is there a sign in the office that says English only? If not then your being a little bitch.

Thick skin, FTW.

My reply was 100% serious and pretty insightful, if you would just answer the question. Would you feel better if you could understand the language, but they spoke it at such a low volume that you couldn't make out the words?

btw bfactor, go suck a big moosecock it's what you're good at. -
depending on how they were speaking it might annoy me...
what really pisses me off is when im actually talking to more than one person in english, then during our conversation they switch to their language and say a few things, then come back to me... my old landlord and his son did this to me constantly and it drove me fucking nuts -
As though OP's choice of words to express his disgust stopped you ~ and the other loser fuckwads who responded with shit replies ~ from offering some intelligent response to his post.

But where is Lameass with his worthless, assinine 2 cents worth of idiocy????
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. -
I think you've got it good. I wish all the gossip and chit chat that happened around me at work was in a language I don't speak. It would be so much easier to tune it out that way. My ears get bombarded with an endless supply in English all day long.

Two bits of advice for OP:
1. Do work instead of paying attention to BS.
2. Rosetta Stone mf'er. -
dont bother. everyopne speaks english

Speaking a foreign language amongst themselves is fine. Speaking a foreign language in the presence of others is rude. BUT as someone else pointed out, if you are in the minority, you should probably learn their language.
-
its rude, but you are overreacting imo
