never shoes unless i have to.
sometimes i'll leave my flops on as i walk around the house but not often. -
i prefer to take my shoes off when i walk into my house but i've never asked anyone to do it, unless it was muddy outside or something
i definitely own a pair of house shoes, but i don't show them enough love -
I wear my shoes inside. If I go over to somebody's house, however, I take my shoes off unless I know they wear their's around the house. It seems pretty split depending on who you are and what type of flooring you have down in your main areas.

sneakers yes, snow shoes never.

take off if you are going to be walking on carpet.

I think made the same thread a loooong time ago (repost-expired imo). But why the fuck, even if you have hardwood floors which are super easy to clean, why would you walk around inside with your shoes on? It's more comfortable without them, and you don't bring as much dirt inside (even if you clean regularly).
The only reason I can think of, is not wanting people with really bad foot odor to take of their shoes in your house. -
Off at the door everywhere.

I usually either wear flip flops or go barefoot in my own home.
When I'm at Asian people's houses (which was just about every day when I was in junior high/high school) I would just go in socks or barefoot (depending if it was summer/winter). Would never even wear flip flops. Gotta show respeck to the Asian grandmothers imho. All my friends' grandmothers thought I was the nicest whiteboy in the entire los angeles basin imho. And it is my belief that word spreads about this sort of stuff within the Asian community. Therefore, all across the Los Angeles Basin, it is probably fairly well known amongst Asians that I am a nice boy. -
if they only knew...lol

but yeah I grew up in a mostly tropical/asian community so I almost always wore slippers and just left them of the porch which is standard in Hawaii -
Slippers or Flip Flops at home.. Depends on the house I am at otherwise both America and abroad. If there are a pile of shoes near the doors, you obviously need to respect the house you are at and wear socks.
