  1. So I am setting up Utorrent on A Macbook pro for a friend of mine and cannot figure out how to transfer downloaded torrents to Itunes. Google has not been my friend on trying to figure this out. Any help would be appreciated.
  2. Not a Mac user but don't see why the process would change. Can't you just add the file you put the torrents in to the library?
  3. drag them onto the itunes dock icon
[unless i'm seriously missing the question]

[edit] and if that's actually what you're looking to do, go ahead and trash the original file because itunes creates a duplicate in it's own libray..

oh, and you can drag/drop a whole folder on there if you want.. itunes will sort/organize it...

Ok So Im not used to using MAc's at all so im sorry if i sound totally stupid. So Im in the Utorrent Client and have A torrent Dl'd and am not able to click and drag the torrent to the itunes icon on the dock. On my Pc, when I dl a torrent from Bitcomet it places the torrent into a folder on my desktop from which I can take the torrent and drag it into Itunes. Not the same on a mac.

well, it's downloading to where ever utorrent is telling it to go.. most likely, it's going to the downloads folder which should be in the dock.. if your homey removed it, it's in macintoshHD/user/downloads or just type downloads in the finder search bar or use spotlight..

does your friend know how to use his computer at all? if so, that ^^^ should make sense but if not, i'll give you the baby steps..

[edit] yeah, i just downloaded utorrent and by default, it's putting the dls in the download folder.. if that folder isn't in the dock, drag it in there once you find it so you always have easy access to it..
if you want to change the location of where utorrent puts the files, go uTorrent->Preferences->downloads->default download location->other... then direct it towards a folder or create a new one on the desktop

  7. click the torrent, open in finder, drag into itunes

  8. Well she's not to familiar with it she jsut got it. Baby steps would be appreciated.. When I dl it form Piratebay the download box pops up in the bottom right corner and shows that the torrent Dl is complete. Also shows that the torrent is completed in the Utorrent client its self. I just cant open the torrent from the Utorrent client its self and it wil not just drag to Itunes.

  9. Don't use utorrent. Ever..Azureus ftw.
  10. look where this arrow is pointing to.. does the dock have a folder named downloads next to the trash can? if so, that's where the torrents are at...

[if it's not there, i'll tell you how to put it there]
