We, the SWAT team, did a raid on a crack dealer today. My assignment was securing the second floor along with a few other guys.
I made my way up the steps yelling out "police search warrant" for all to hear. I made entry into one of the two bedrooms just in time to see the bottoms of a guys shoes as he did a superman out of the second story window. The window was closed BTW and he fell straight down to the ground.
In the last 12 months he is the second guy to do this, the last one (you may remember from my story about it) broke his neck. This guy just got minor injuries. He of course had a good amount of crack on him.
I will never understand this technique. I can guarantee you that if we are in the house we are outside the house too. These guys think they can jump out the window and escape. One of the perimeter guys had to move to avoid getting landed on. -
