Try and avoid stoners for a few weeks.

I've been clean for almost 6 months. Was smoking a quarter a week for a few years. Hard with the good pnw stuff. If you only hang out with some people because of the smoke, stop hanging out. Gotta try and remove yourself from the situation. It was tough, still think about smoking all the time!

I blazed hard for a while (6 or 7 years)

I quit when I used to get too fucked up and started getting anxiety problems
I tried to fight through it, and still blazed but then it got ridiculous.
I switched to alcohol, and now im an alcoholic which I prefer over being a stoner . I can still function on booze '( yard work, family shit, relaxing, etc)
everyone needs a crutch, just gotta find what fits.

I wouldn't change up a whole lot tbh. I know that everyone says not to hangout with the same people or do the same things but the real trick is just to not do it.
gl and when you come back find some moderation so you don't get burnt out -
You might want to wait till the NFL season is over.
I cant imagine being sober and watching any colts games this year. Yikes. -
Stopped in to find out what blazing was

Smartest thing you have ever done...Maybe some other OTers will follow in your footsteps. Takes a real man to do it, and an even bigger man to post that you are doing it in OT.

Weed was cool in college, after that, not so much.
It is time to grow up and actually be a man after that. Gettin blazed everyday does not = being a man. -
Good job if this is not a level, just don't pick up a worse habit to replace it with.

quit like two and a half months ago. still smoke on the rare occasion but never more than a few rips cuz my tolerance is so low. it's definitely doable, just take it one day at a time.

i'm high right now

I have seen people with physical withdrawals.....from the sweats to sleep problems. those are physical.
keep up the good fight tho
with your logic it should be as easy as quitting eating your favorite chip. it should be a piece of cake that one rarely thinks about after quitting. not sure which science you reference but anything you put in your body on a daily basis that gives you an altered state of mind........will have withdrawal symptoms if u stop cold turkey. apparantely weed is exempt from this logic
whatever science u use is wrong I have seen and know many people who have had physical withdrawals from pot.
maybe not the extreme ones other drugs have...but withdrawals nonetheless
