  1. My little sister Erin Nicole Schaefer. She passed at 10 pm p/t yesterday, after losing her battle to an infection she was fighting. I'm still in shock it literally feels like I'm living a nightmare. Here is a website created for her by a friend of ours so everyone could keep track of how she was doing.

Please keep her in your thoughts. She will truly be missed...

edit: and ftr it wasn't cancer that did it, it was due to an infection. The reason the infection did it was because 2.5 weeks ago she was given the hardest chemotherapy that could be administered to her and it wiped out her whole immune system so once she got the infection her body couldn't fight it on its own so they had to sedate her and put her on life support. The infection caused her body to retain fluids and swell up. 1.5 weeks ago she had surgery to remove her intestines because they were so filled with fluids, a normal intestine is about 1lb hers was 10lbs. She was slowly getting better as of 2 days ago, I guess her body was tired and I know she gave it her all.
